"We were very comfortable in this accommodation. The host Catherine was super, very friendly and accommodating. We had a dog trailer and needed to park off street. Catherine moved things around especially so we could do that. We also loved the welcome basket of treats on our arrival. A very thoughtful and kind gesture. Would definitely stay again."

"Everything regarding our stay at Ferguson Cottage was without fault. Danielle was most considerate offering early check in to suit our flight arrival. The property is very well equipped, cosy and comfortable. The garden appears to have grown considerably since the original listing and is a well kept delight. Thank you for a wonderful experience."

"We loved the cottage . Warm Cosy and excellent hostess. Sadly no refund from the booking that went wrong for the Purau house . "

"Sandard of the interior was immaculate. Sadly on the 2nd night other guests arrived to stay in the sleep out compromising the privacy of the property which was v.important to us as we had small children. Disappointed this wasnt made clear as we probably wouldnt have booked."

"Such a stunning view!! I could have sat in the spa soaking that in all day, especially when the sun is shining across the bay! The house is a perfect size for 2 adults with all that is needed to cook and have a few days out of the hustle and bustle. Akaroa is close by and there are plenty of great cafes and bars to eat at a short 10 min drive away."

"Magnificent view form the balcony, living room and lounge. Trees were lovely and full of birds."

"It was easy access to the accommodation which was spacious and clean. It was simple and we were comfortable. It is in a good location with a bus stop right outside. Frequent buses go to the city center and we could walk to the beach. I highly recommend this little gem."

"Well appointed accommodation, has everything and being winter very cosy with having the heating throughout. Would like to stay here again if we return to Akaroa."

"We were unaware it was only 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds... but worked just fine because the boys had sleeping bags on one bed. Dishwasher was not functioning safely with drawers unable to take weight so we chose to hand wash our dishes. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful property but Old and Needing Maintenance. Power went out in kitchen, couldn't find circuit board/fuses. Toilet in master bath quit working, plumber had to be called. Lamp on wall above bed inoperative and loose. Light above sink in master bath is out. Property needs attention before I would recommend. Shame, great location with potential."
