"We came here for a short getaway for my 50th birthday. I just wanted to be on the lake and this cabin was the perfect place. We arrived and it was pouring rain and so so windy. I thought for sure it would be cold and damp inside. But it was perfectly dry and nice and warm! The next day it cleared up and we got to enjoy going on the deck and watching the swans and the freighters. That night the sky was clear and the stars were amazing. It would be great to stay at this property during a meteor shower. If it hadn’t been the end of December we would have enjoyed walking to the lighthouse park. More light in the kitchen would have been nice. "
