About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Osprey, the water view oasis.

Situated on the waterfront, this private, picturesque retreat offers breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. Sitting perched on 2.5 acres of medium bank waterfront overlooking the Puget Sound, you will see an abundance of marine life from the back deck. The spacious living area is adorned with large windows, allowing natural light to flood the space and provide uninterrupted views of the sparkling water. Book Osprey today and prepare to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

More about the inside space: This home boasts an open floor plan comfortably holding 8 guests. There are two primary bedrooms with one additional sleeping area in the flex media room. One bedroom has one Queen bed and the second bedroom has one King and Queen bed. The media room includes a large screen TV, full size futon, and massive sectional couch good for sleeping two. There are two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room, workout/observatory, dining area, and a washer & dryer. Not to mention the large soaking tub and sauna. We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to; linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, oil for cooking, salt & pepper, tea, coffee, creamer.

More about the outside space: This home is located at the end of a private drive way. It has a large manicured lawn, deck with outdoor dining, propane fire pit on the covered deck, BBQ, and a running creek. Our favorite outdoor feature is the Bald Eagle's nest sitting atop the spruce tree towering over the detached deck. While sitting here with your morning coffee, you will see eagles soaring above and tending to their nest. This water view retreat is the ultimate getaway for families, couples, and friends.

More about the location: The house is under ten minutes to the Port Hadlock and under twenty minutes to downtown Port Townsend. Best of all, you have the option of taking the ferries (Bainbridge or Edmonds) or driving around, which are both approximately two hours.

Port Ludlow offers a wealth of activities for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Whether you enjoy hiking, boating, or simply exploring the pristine surroundings, there is something for everyone. Nearby attractions include the Port Ludlow Marina, golf courses, and scenic hiking trails.

The guests will have access to the entire house. While we will allow use of the garage for the washer and dryer, we ask that you please refrain from exploring in there.

While we won't be there to check you in, we will be available during your stay via airbnb, text or call.

We strongly recommend your own transportation. This location is set in a rural area with very few ride share options.

Quiet and secluded.
It's a perfect place to get a way from it all. We used it as home base for our day trips to the coast and Olympic park. I already miss the sunrises and sun sets. I only gave 3 stars on the location because it may be too secluded for some. If your looking for a night life, I don't think you will find much nearby.

Beautiful views from the Osprey
We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at this property. The deck was great for sitting and relaxing. From the deck, we saw seals, dolphins, a bald eagle and many cruise ships making their way from Seattle. The ping pong table got a lot of use on the rainy days, reminding us of many years ago when we had one of our own. The shuffleboard table was fun too. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the sauna was a nice bonus that we're not used to having at rentals. There was plenty of room for everyone with 6 adults and a toddler. This location is an easy drive to Port Townsend where we took a whale watching cruise and saw humpbacks, a minke whale, orcas, elephant seals, and the famous lost red footed booby. Port Townsend also has a ton of restaurants and shops to check out. With no other homes nearby it was a great retreat.

Exceptional home on Puget Sound
We knew the moment we drove down the driveway that we were entering a magical property. The house is a gorgeous NW style retreat, with every possible feature you could want, from a gourmet kitchen, to sauna, soaking tub, artwork and views from every window looking out onto the stunning marine filled sound. We will remember this trip forever and will definitely return to this gorgeous home!
