"A number of us ranging from ages 8-62 came here for a family week away. The property was perfect for our group. It was well maintained and clean. We had a few questions for the hosts during our stay, and they always responded right away. A few more extra blankets (it was super cold the week we visited), and an onsite vacuum cleaner were my only requests. "This was the perfect little getaway with my girlfriends, the place was so lovely, we all felt so comfortable, we had heat issues, and when we contacted the management, they came over within minutes to rectify our issue. Really sweet little town with lots of beautiful shops and places to eat."

"Judy has put together a very thoughtful bunkie that’s brimming with character. It's cozy and inviting, temporarily making the world a smaller place for you to relax and live worry-free. There were few mosquitos while I was there. I noticed instead more bees, butterflies, and dragonflies (which eat mosquitos to my knowledge). There were also plenty of frogs and a few hummingbirds that frequented the feed. To cook, there's a small gas stove and also a BBQ. The gas stove is in the kitchenette...

"We arrived just before sunset and we were so happy to find such a beautiful home . Our dog had a blast getting his zoomies out in the back yard and the kids made themselves at home in the kitchen making dinner . Our night took a great turn when my teenager asked to play scrabble ! "We spent four very quiet and restful days at this location. Well appointed with a lovely sunroom, firepit, and walking access to a sandy swimming spot on beautiful Upper Beverley Lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning made the hot Summer day comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area! Had a wonderful time."

"The best part of the trip was the boat tour. The lake and area are beautiful. Please match the online listing to signs posted in the suite (e.g. Pool hours only 6am to 9pm). "We stayed for an extended weekend for a wedding at Stonefields with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The hosts were accommodating and thoughtful with kids activities. Less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue. Beautiful views of a serene lake with amazing sunset! Outdoor space equip for relaxing and play. Short drive to Carleton Place for groceries and playgrounds. Thanks for a great stay! "

"Considering the amenities, this is more a house than cottage. Very comfortable beds. Truly appreciate things like boxes of tissues, shampoo and conditioner, comfy blankets, tons of glassware, dishes, towels. Clear lake water, no weeds, making for great swimming, kayaking, boating. Clear and concise information from the hosts made our arrival and departure super easy. All the comforts one can ask for. Definitely recommend! "

"This is an authentic old country house with original, solid wood furniture and comfy chairs. It has the quirky bits of old architecture (tiny toilets) but was clean and in good repair. The stars at night were spectacular without other light pollution."

"Like the title says, the owners are very nice and doing their best but that can't cover up all the issues. The owners live on site by the way, along with the three cottages that are for rent...one right beside you at the pool level and one behind you that walks by the pool area to access the lake. There is not really any outdoor privacy. The view from the pool area and deck is breathtaking. The steps down to the pool from the cottage are definitely not to code, but there is a railing to hang...

"This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. "This house is just as advertised- beautiful water views, large grassy area for running around and playing, spacious parking and plenty of beds. The table easily seats 8 with another table outside for 6. The host was accommodating and quick to reply with all our requests. Would book again."
