Great place by the sea
Great location in Port Elliot, short walk into town and to Horseshoe bay, fantastic views from the apartment. Yes, the apartment could do with a bit of renovating, but it is great value for money, its clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a great stay. Communication was great too. Thanks for a wonderful stay and hope we can return in the future.

Perfect location. Every thing we needed for a great weekend. Netflix was added bonus as the weather was a little wet n windy. We will be back.

Great if you'd like a mid-century (1960s) experience
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked the place as it was close to a friend's place, and we knew it was close to the Port Elliot shops, pub etc. Whilst the photos were representative of the 1960s style and layout of the unit, the photos did not show how knocked about the woodwork and paint was. These looked like they had not been touched since the place was built. Superficial attempts had been made to update the unit including relatively new white goods but the laundry tub was rusted, and the fixtures in the bathroom would have been a delight for anyone who likes mid-century furnishings. The mid-century vibe extended also to bedding and linen which were frayed and worn. The unit is not recommended for cold seasons as the downstairs heat pump was barely effective; and the only heating upstairs was via a small portable radiator which was great if the door to the room was kept closed to keep heat inside the room. The key safe was difficult to access, and impossible to lock at the end of our stay. Whilst parking is provided on-site, the carport was too narrow to allow opening of both passenger and driver doors at the same time - let your passenger/s out before you park. I would imagine this place would be most suitable to families who want to be right on the beach during summer, and where kids have no respect for their surroundings.

Value for money beach front property. It's not new, but comfortable and clean, great location , walk to pubs and restaurants, beach across the road. Sit on the balcony and watch the surfers ride the waves, Do the esplanade walk around to horseshoe bay and take in the amazing rock formations and secluded beaches. Just enjoy.

Amazing location. Defiently do recommend visiting. The view is over looking all the surfers and you see all the amazing sunsets. Close to everything you need shops, resturants, parks etc.

Winter Cosy with a great view
Our stay coincided with a blast of wintry weather and we appreciated being able to sit inside and still enjoy the amazing view over the ocean. The unit was comfortable. Communication was easy to answer queries both before and during our stay. Checking in and out at the property was time-saving although we found the key-holder a bit tricky. Browsing the shops, eateries and beach was within walking distance.

Our stay was comfortable, gorgeous views, brilliant location. The only problem was the washing machine didn’t work and after a couple attempts trying to wash a load we had to wash everything by hand. Car park is a bit, with a big car we found it easier to park on the road - we had a downpour of fabulous much needed rain which caused some of minor flooding inside, but easy clean up. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
