GREAT FAMILY GETAWAY BY THE BEACH-HILLSVIEW PORT ELLIOTT

Located in the seaside village of Port Elliot, this three-bedroom, air conditioned holiday home is perfect for your family getaway.

With open plan living, two bathrooms and all the home comforts including air conditioning and heating, fans, Digital TV, DVD and a self-contained kitchen. Linen is provided as optional extra or we can supply sheets, pillow cases and towels yourself at no extra cost.

The home sleeps up to 8 people and includes 1 x Queen, 1 x Double and 4 x Single beds. The home is ideal for a family or even two families that could share a getaway!

The property is only a 100m stroll to the beautiful Port Elliott Beach as well as only a short drive to Port Elliott shops, hotels and cafes or Victor Harbour.

Enjoy a BBQ under the entertaining area or sit on the balcony with a cold beer or wine and enjoy the sunset over the gorgeous hills.

Available all year round subject to bookings an ideal weekend getaway or take the family away for a relaxing week

Great location, so close to Boomer Beach, and with a lovely view of the hills. It is an enjoyable walk into Pt Elliot. And dog friendly! Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Great property on the doorstep of boomer beach
This is a great property for families to stay right on the doorstep of boomer beach. Scott was a fantastic host ensuring all linen was organised and made check in/out as seamless as possible. Would definitely bring the family here again the next time we visit Port Elliot.

Family getaway
It’s the second time we’ve stayed here as we have a small dog who loves the beach. The kids hear the cockle train and run up the street to wave to the driver. The beach is so close to walk to. The layout of the house is really good, I also love renting a property that has a lot of basics for the kitchen already provided, ie Vegemite, sauces oils etc, very handy!

A really lovely, clean and comfortable home away from traffic noise. Well equipped and is being renovated. What has been done is very nice. The house is well named with a panoramic hill view which does not disappoint. Will definitely rebook.

Relaxing stay, good location close to beach.
Enjoyed our stay with great weather to sit on the front balcony and watch the hills. Location is good, only 2km walk to Pt Elliot and Boomer Beach is just at the end of the laneway across the train line so great if you are a surfer like me. Communication with Scott the owner is excellent. As other reviews have said, it's a little dated but if you go in with that expectation then you won't be disappointed. Everything is there for a good stay, it's what you make of it.

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable family beach house with close access to the beach and a lovely view of the hills from the deck. We appreciated all the pantry items provided. We ordered bedding and towels which awaited us when we arrived, and Scott was a great host.

The house was great for us. There was a real homely, comfortable feel about the property and Adrian had ensured there was coffee, masses of cleaning agents and condiments. There were toys for the kids and the house was about 1.2km from Pt Elliot. The house was really competitively priced so we were pleased that it met our needs. Adrian contacted us before our trip and answered and queries promptly.

Needs work
The location is great, however the house needs alots of work and cleaning up to make it a 5star. Its more like a 2 -3star rating. The back yard is not a place you would want to sit and enjoy a BBQ with friends. Everything was over grown and it looked like I had walked into a rubbish tip. Very disappointed. All the cupboards where shoved full off staff. Nothing was organised to make it a relaxing stay. There where in the kitchen cupboards. YUK! Not a place I would recomend for a relaxing weekend.

Time for update! Furniture old and stained Floors Dirty ! Fan very loud as broken in bathroom Shower leaking water How is this property 4.5 stars ? Discrace on you Stayz ! Very misleading with pics and by past reviews the property manager definitely does not want to spend a cent$ to make things better for travelers 🧳 I emailed the property owner who was happy I not give a bad Review! But my friend say let the truth be told ! Good luck Scott with the promise Of cleaning out the mould smell in wardrobe! And getting rid of the cockroaches 😩 I wanted to leave on our first night! But had a wedding to attend next day ! Worst experience I’ve ever had on my travels,,,,

Watch out for extra costs
I was disappointed that after booking and paying for this property in full I received an email from the property owner 2 days before leaving that an additional $70 cleaning fee would be required . This is unacceptable - all costs should be upfront so it's clear to the customer from the start what they have to pay. The property wasn't in the cleanest of conditions as it was so to have to pay a further $70 on departure felt unreasonable. I did contact the owner directly about this but he has not responded.
