Enter into an expansive living room with beautiful, tall trey ceilings and 26 feet of sliding doors that open up the Florida room, living room, master bedroom, and den/ kitchen to a sun-filled, private lanai with a large heated pool and jacuzzi-style hot tub. Look out onto waving palm trees, and a beautiful lake beyond. The house is set to southern exposure so you'll get plenty of that famous Florida sun.

You are nestled between the quaint cities of Punta Gorda, North Port, and Englewood. There are plenty of restaurants within 5 min, beaches within 30, and shopping all around. A short drive to famous beaches: 30 min to Boca Grande is our personal fav along with Englewood, Manasota Key, Venice, Nokomis, and Siesta Key (whose white Siesta Beach has been chosen multiple times as the best beach in the United States). The area is known as one of the greatest places to sail in the United States, one of the greatest places to play golf in America, and one of the best places to live in the South. Also, if you want to explore more of Florida while you’re here, you are a 2.5-hour drive from Disney World (Orlando). 3.5-hour drive to Miami. 2-hour drive to the Everglades.

Beautiful Getaway
Matt and Michelle were very accommodating and provided great information on local amenities. The house is absolutely stunning and has that "home" feel. My husband and I traveled with our 3 yr old, and the space was more than sufficient. The pool was perfect, and what an amazing view! We will definitely try to stay again!

This was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing rentals I've had in recent memory. The house is beautifully appointed and the pool and spa were so inviting i found it hard to get out at the end of the day. I would recommend this properly to anyone looking for a retreat from the everyday.

Great Florida Stay
This is a very nice house and a decent value given its location and high-end feel. The pictures and description are 100% accurate. Nicely equipped kitchen, plenty of bath / pool towels and stocked with an adequate amount of basic necessities. The neighborhood itself is extremely quiet. We walked the area a few mornings and everyone was very friendly. Plenty of privacy in the pool area. The location was very convenient for exploring the coast and other nearby cities.

Loved the pool. Shower in master bath has a slippery floor, bath tub in hall bath was not much better. But overall, we had a great time. Came home with a Florida sunburn! Great.

Quiet and Relaxing
Just spent 2 weeks at this beautiful home in a quiet neighbourhood. The house did not disappoint. Enjoyed many days just relaxing by the well maintained pool and enjoying the view across the small lake. Easy drive to anywhere we needed to go. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Summer Getaway
My mom, daughter & I stayed at this gorgeous home while visiting a few colleges in Tampa & Ft Meyers! Served as a great half way mark! Loved the house! It was exactly what you dream of for a Florida getaway! The Florida room & pool were awesome as well as the common areas. The beach is not super close but you can get to multiple amazing beaches within 30-45minutes. My favorites were south towards Naples. Although Anna Marie Island & Englewood were good also. Thank you so much for sharing your home! We had a great time!

Great view
The view was great. We have stayed in several houses in the area. This is the first one we stayed in that we would stay in again Matt and Michelle we’re very helpful and great people. our grand children and children live in the area and Michelle and Matt was perfectly OK with us having them over. We enjoyed our two week stay and look forward to staying there again. and when we would contact them, they would respond back quick and when you’re needing to find something and can’t find it that is very nice thanks Michelle and Matt. See you next year.

Beautiful Property - We loved our stay!!!!
This home was exactly as advertised (if not even better!). It was spotless and tastefully decorated. It has everything you need. All we needed to do was run to the grocery store, which was conveniently nearby. We loved the floor plan which was spacious and had a gorgeous and relaxing view of the pool and lake (and the bird watching was fantastic!). I think our favorite room was the Florida room. The beds were very comfortable and the dining room was just perfect for family dinners and playing dominos!!! We also loved the fact that the home was a single story, which helped with my 83 year old mother (and the walk in shower helped also). The owners (Matt and Michelle) were very responsive when we had questions. We would love to stay here again!!!

Wonderful Stay
After a slight hiccup at checkin, which was quickly resolved by the owners, we immediately feel in love with the view from the front door to the pool! After a walkthrough of the home we unfortunately discovered a large dead worm in the entryway by the front door and a dead frog or gecko in the master bath. Also, the prior guests had not cleaned out the refrigerator, freezer, and cupboards of any leftover foods. Upon us throwing out the food, we discovered that both trash barrels and the recycling barrel was packed full. This resulted in us later catching a racoon picking through the trash! The pool deck was extremely dirty. We ended up going to get $1 loofahs at Walmart so we could clean our feet. All the towels and washcloths as well as the bed sheets are white and we were afraid we would ruin them. The BBQ grill needed to be cleaned badly, as it was clear a prior guest had a grease fire inside the grill. The ignition switch didn’t work and there was no lighter to be found. There were also no grill utensils to use. The rest was very positive! The master bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! The pool and hot tub were definitely highlights. We used them daily. We saw lots of wildlife right from the backyard, such as an alligator in the pond, turtles, bunnies, lots of birds and even a Florida bobcat! The home is well equipped and the furniture was very comfortable. Our favorite place to sit was in the lanai chairs. We would stay again!

Hurricane stay
The place is beautiful. Everything was great except we added more days to our stay and the host forgot to add it to our door entry and we were unable to access the house after a long days work and it took 22 minutes for the host to respond. Just a minor mistake but bad timing for us. Overall would recommend it to anyone up to 5 people.

Visited Florida to see family and chose this house as a place to stay. The house is as good as it sounds in the description. The house's overall flow was so open and airy. The furniture was all top quality and in great condition. The pool, where we spent a lot of time, was exactly what we were looking for. One note, parts of the deck have a decent slope to them and get very slippery.

Innen ein sehr schönes Haus, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Außenbereich ist ansich auch sehr schön aber leider konnte man die Liege und Stühle nicht benutzen, da sie enorme Stockflecken hatten, da mochte man sich selbst mit einem Handtuch nicht hinsetzen… ansonsten war aber alles sehr schön. Auch der Kontakt zu Matt und Michelle war sehr nett. Nur beim Tropensturm hätten wir uns etwas Hilfe gewünscht, wir wussten nicht wirklich, was wir machen sollten. Leider gab es da auf Nachfrage keine Antwort. Aber Gott sei Dank hatten wir großes Glück.

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet clean home.
We decided on staying in Port Charlotte as it was an ideal location between N. Fort Myers and North Port where my husband's siblings have homes. We definitely made the perfect choice to stay in this VRBO. The home is lovely, the neighborhood is quiet and in a location that's easy to get to restaurants and grocery stores. We will be back! My new "Go-To"
This is the second time I've rented this home. The first time it was my wife and I with our 2 kids and a friend of our daughter's. We loved it then. My wife passed away in January this year and I wanted to take the kids just to get away for a few days and I knew this home was just what I wanted. It did not disappoint. Location is fantastic. 15 minutes to Punta Gorda airport. Close to restaurants, groceries, etc. Close to the interstate to Tampa or Ft Myers. Very quiet neighborhood. The house is wonderful itself. Comfortable beds/pillows, big TV in living room (yes, that's important to us), comfortable furniture, GREAT heated pool/spa, and love being on a lake. We enjoyed watching the 4th of July neighborhood fireworks while in our own heated pool. Had a small internet issue at the start but communication with the owners was wonderful and we figured out the issue. TONS of dishes, glassware, utensils, etc. My only recommendation would be to put some sort of window covering on the front windows/door. Both the kids and I thought it was a little creepy at night that people can see in. But this wasn't any sort of issue to sway my feelings on this house. I will definitely rent this house again if we head back to the Port Charlotte area in the future.

Awesome Place, 5 star in every way
Great rental! Everything about it was fantastic. Matt & Michelle we very accommodating and even went out of their way for a special request. The house, decor, pool, amenities, were all perfect for our family get away. We drove a little north and went to Caspersen Beach and found a load of shark teeth, super fun. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would recommend this rental to anyone.

Relaxing stay
This house was great! Such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days. We loved drinking our morning coffee in the Florida room while enjoying the beautiful view of the pond and listening to the water feature between the pool and hot tub. The house had everything we needed including essential kitchen items and beach towels for the pool. We loved the beautiful decor of the house and enjoyed the homeowner’s recommendations for local restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful and peaceful stay. We would HIGHLY recommend this place.
