The Albatross is a spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, double-storey timber beach house located in the heart of Port Campbell. Originally built in the 1980s, this distinctive home is characterized by its blue veranda poles. Formerly known as 'Pine View,' it was renamed 'The Albatross' in 2016 and has recently undergone a partial renovation. Updates include a fresh coat of paint, new flooring, window coverings, and other modern fittings.
Upstairs features an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area with doors leading to the front ocean-facing deck. The kitchen, designed by German craftsmen and upgraded in the mid-2000s, includes an electric cooktop, wall oven, and double dish drawer.
The upper level also houses two bedrooms: one with sea views and a queen bed, and the other a garden view room with a private balcony and queen bed. On the ground floor, the entry level boasts a bright, open space with timber floorboards, a wood fire, and sliding glass doors that open onto a paved entertaining area, garden, and backyard. This level includes two additional bedrooms—a mini apartment with a queen-size bed, its own living area, TV, and access to the downstairs bathroom, which features a separate shower and toilet.
