Seas the Day is a cozy, beach front, comfortable home for you to relax in and enjoy some beach time! It is the perfect gathering space for family and friends with a spacious living room and kitchen area. The large upstairs and downstairs patios allow you to enjoy the ocean views and sounds right from the house. And, the beach is a one minute walk with walking beach access at the house. The kitchen is fully furnished and perfect for you to cook your favorite meals and treats.
Right next door is our 2nd house that sleeps 18—perfect for a large gathering. Reserve both houses for the perfect retreat.
Seas the Day sleeps 10 in beds. The master bedroom features a king bed and an on suite with double sink and large shower. The second bedroom comes with a queen bed. And, the third bedroom accommodates 6 with full under twin bunk beds. Both the second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Downstairs features covered parking, an outdoor shower, and a built-in picnic table.

Long weekend getaway
We enjoyed our long weekend getaway on the Bolivar peninsula. The house is lovely! Very clean, well furnished, very comfortable. Located on the beach front with easy access to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Best ocean view!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is light, bright and open. It also has the most amazing porch where spent every morning having a cup of coffee watching the sun rise. Checking in and out was easy, and the owners were very prompt and responsive handling a minor hiccup with the TV. Definitely recommend! You won’t be disappointed:-)

We had a fantastic 3 night stay, with a gorgeous view in a beautiful beach house. It was very tidy, great contact with the property manager. Had no issues and very much would love to come back again next year! Loved it!

Perfect Spot on the Beach
This is my new favorite house in Bolivar Island. The house is new, very clean and just a few steps from the water. Amazing views from the deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We can’t wait to come back. We truly enjoyed our weekend!

Property was very clean. We did not plan on cooking, however there were no spices, plastic wrap or any pantry items. The shower head fell off in the hall bathroom. The shower head was not a screw on, but we did manage to push it back on. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend the house.

Perfect beach getaway
We had an AMAZING time here! We came here to celebrate Father’s Day! Husband really enjoyed the shore fishing. We love the minute walk right out front to the beach! We got to wash the sand off the dogs downstairs, grilled and just really got to relax. All the comforts of home was provided in the house! Thank you Cathy and Eric! Beautiful location and home.

Gilchrist Getaway
The beach house was exactly what we needed. It was well anointed with plenty of space, linens, and towels and was very clean. We had plenty of supplies for laundry as well. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of pots, pans, and dishware. I would bring additional paper products (paper towels/Kleenex), and if you are planning to do any extensive cooking, bring your own spices. Thank you for a great weekend!

Wonderful Experience and Location
Absolutely exceeded expectations. What a wonderful property. As close to the beach as it gets. I can officially say my family and I prefer the Bolivar peninsula over Galveston now. All the amenities you need for a great experience. The property is in great shape and very clean. So thankful a grill is provided and that we have the option to enjoy the views from the porch or on the ground level. Location is a bit more isolated as it's not in a community but I think that is a big plus. Such a fun experience during 4th of July weekend.

Our girls trip was fabulous!!
The house was perfect for our get away! Location was great, between the more populated spots in the area. And right on the beach which gave great views. The seating area upstairs was great for quiet coffee in the mornings or nightcaps. The patio area under is perfect for cooking on the grill or getting out of the sun. Handles a large group with ease. The house is perfectly set up and very clean. All the needed items are stocked. We loved our stay & plan to schedule this property again. The only thing I would check is the deadbolt lock. It was difficult to get the key in & out to secure the house.

Fourth of July Stay - Great Views!
We really enjoyed our stay at “Seas the Day”. We had a total of 4 adults and 2 kids staying for the long Fourth of July weekend, with a few additional guests one night. The real highlights for us were the proximity to the beach – a 30 second walk to the sand, can’t beat it!! We also LOVED sitting upstairs on the porch and watching the waves. The deck chairs, tables and stools they have are beautiful, comfy and very sturdy and also there were plenty to go around. The kitchen was also fully stocked with nice appliances, utensils, plates and cups, everything we needed was included. And finally, the house itself is very nice! Looks like it has been recently built, so very clean and no funky ocean smells. Nice simple decorations and really comfy couches! The only bit of feedback we have is maybe adding a wood bridge to get from the property to the beach, right now it is a sand path which is fine but it was a little hard to get a wagon full of chairs, beach toys, etc. through the sand. Other than that though, we would absolutely stay again!
