The room is cold and smells musty. Heat only comes from the space heater on the floor in the corner. It looked really cute in the pictures, and is quaint and quiet. Also, no tv. Good/bad, you decide. No staff on site. Didn't find out till later. Restaurant was closed on Tuesday.

Noisy, cramped, and crowded
This motel is located right on Highway 101, which is the main/only road through this region. This means that it is very heavily traveled, including by large trucks, at all hours of the day and night. It is also attached to a very busy restaurant and ice cream shop that make it difficult to even get into the parking lot and the guest accommodations are very, very near to the crowds waiting for and eating their food. As a result of the traffic and crowds, it is VERY LOUD and not the "quiet reprieve" advertised on the inn's website. The room itself is quite modest with somewhat dated decor and furnishing. The biggest issue with the room we stayed in was the mattress, whose contours mimicked the mountainous landscape of nearby Olympic National Park: hard peaks on the edges, sloping to a valley, and lots of springs. We were glad that we only stayed here for one night and were happy to leave at the crack of dawn.

Perfect base camp for the northern half of the park
This was a perfect cozy location for a quick 2-day tour of the northern half of the park. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it's location is hard to beat. Owner was quick to respond to questions as well. Hope to stay here again!

This little inn was lovely! Quiet, clean, and homey. The check in was quick, simple, friendly. The little cafe in the same parking lot had great food. I would definitely stay here again when in the area!

Quaint spot with a vintage feel
We enjoyed our brief stay. This sweet motor lodge felt like a kick back in time. If you are used to the big chain hotels be prepared for a “simpler” stay (no tv, but we knew in advance and were looking forward to a night without). The room was clean and had some nice personal touches (ear plugs for the thin walls, bottled water, etc). We didn’t get to try Grannys, but found the stay a highlight of our trip.

Loved the quaint feel about the place. Decorated very well with the use of vintage pieces. New owners have done a great job at making the place "up to date". It was nice without the TV. However, sounds carried from room to room and we could hear conversations in the adjacent rooms as if they were in our room. We would stay here again in a pinch.
