"Beautiful location next to river and parkland, close to town and access to spa day centre. Hotel is clean, a bit dated, and service is generally good. Problem only on check out which set us back half an hour - staff could not overcome a computer set back which may be evident that a general upgrade to hotel facilities and staff training may be required"

"The property is very beautiful. The room was just as pictured and VERY clean. I believe it is family run and the people who run the B and B are very professional and friendly but also private (I barely saw them but they are always available for questions and advice). The breakfast offered is delicious and by far the best breakfast I have been offered in Italy. They are chestnut farmers and include a little chestnut treat (pancakes, muffins, honey etc.) There was fresh fruit!!! Yogurt, juice,...

"Staff were awesome! Hotel is beautiful. Would stay again. Beds were super comfortable. Best sleep we got in Italy. This resort was a nice break from the city visits. The spa was nice, but the open hours made it difficult to plan days to visit areas like Pisa and Florence and spend time there without missing the spa closing. We did not have breakfast or lunch at the resort but we did have dinner. As someone who is accustomed to fine dining, it was disappointing. Food was under seasoned and lacked depth of flavor. I would definitely stay here again! Just next time venture down the way 5 minutes to a local restaurant. ☺️"
