"Incredible service from arrival with all the welcome information for your stay prepared and printed in your language. The building is a former monastery and very spacious with its own unique history. Many parts of the hotel display links to that history including underground archeology now incorporated as a museum next to the underground car park, a very interesting encounter. Free parking both outside and within the secure basement car park. "

"The double room was fairly basic but finished to a very high standard and included a lovely shower. The hotel is located on beautiful grounds in front of the casino and cinema and conveniently located in the centre of town. There is no dining in the evening but there are a few nice restaurants nearby. The breakfast in the morning was good and reasonably priced. This is a recommended stay."

"Practically on the harbour road, this wonderfully decorated and interesting property is a gem. The room and bath were spacious, super duper clean (we thought it was new, but over 20 yrs old), and the staff are simply excellent. If the tides are favourable they will accomodate your trip to the Cathedral Beach. Our BIGGEST REGRET about this property is that we could only stay one night!"
