"This is an excellent option for Lisbon- it's close enough to the city center to be convenient while being far enough away that it has on-site parking which, trust me, is a big deal. The room was decently sized with a very comfortable bed and a strong hot shower. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet. The property was undergoing construction work and so the entire facade had scaffolding covering it but it didn't affect the quality of my stay. The only criticisms I have is that there was nowhere in the bathroom to store towels or even a toilet paper holder, and the included breakfast was decent but not great. Neither of these were deal breakers and for the money, I can definitely recommend the Sao Laurenco as a base for your stay in Lisbon. Also, there's an excellent restaurant just a 2 minute walk from the hotel with other good dining options close by as well."

"We loved this house - really big and spacious with everything you might need and a beautiful pool and garden. João was the perfect host and greeted us on arrival (with an amazing cake). The house is well positioned for day trips to Lisbon, Cascais and the wild Atlantic coast including the westernmost point of mainland Europe. The village is sleepy but has both a good restaurant, a coffee bar (don’t miss the pastel de nata) and a well stocked supermarket 3 mins drive or about 20 mins walk from the house. But we mostly enjoyed chilling out by the pool and relaxing. We all had a great time - thank you Joao!"

"We had a great stay and the communication with Pedro was fantastic. He provided lots of tips for the area which made everything easier. The house is big and the kitchen is well equipped… it’s basically your home from home. .our daughter enjoyed the little pool and the room with the three beds was perfect for us :) We would stay again if we come back to the area in future. "Rooms are very quiet and clean with towels changed and beds made each day. Easy parking. Located right beside supermarket. Fold-out sofa bed (not as comfortable as the beds) is the only thing that comes to mind for improvement."

"Convenient stopover. Staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the beds were more like single camp beds, rather than the double requested and the pillows weren't good. Worse was that as a service station hotel the main obvious problem would have to be traffic noise, so why weren't the rooms soundproof? Every lorry going past.... Even someone moving a chair in the room above or next door! NOISE. Oh, and that's without the water pipes making a noise throughout the entire night :-( Even the corridor in the non-smoking hotel smelt badly of cigarettes. We didn't find out what breakfast was like because at €6.50 each that's very poor value in Portugal. Intermarche fed us both for under €6. This was grossly overpriced compared to the Pension hotel in Fatima. We should have driven a bit farther."
