Beach house

Beautiful location, Beachfront, amazing views. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels. Clean. The house needs minor improvement on the bathrooms and beds otherwise would give it a 5 star rating. I would definitely book it again.

Awesome Stay

This is a beautiful house right on the water. The view was terrific. The house is well furnished with everything you could need. The living room has a super comfortable couch and plenty of seating. They had plenty of towels for the house and the beach. Shower heads had excellent water pressure! This house was bright and vibrant and even better in person.

Amazing Views and Location

My family and I stayed at this amazing place for a week. It was perfect for 3 kids and 2 adults and 2 small dogs. It was a secluded location for almost having a beach to ourselves. It is close enough to restaurants and night life. Great sunrises in the mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. I would recommend this location to everyone and will try to return in the future.

Location is heavenly

Looking for the most gorgeous sunrise, sunset, privacy? This place is perfect. A small unassuming cottage like property with all of the necessary amenities. The private beach is unbelievable. Host was responsive to each and every request for help.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a great time at this property, the beach was fantastic and barely had people on it, mostly locals walking their dogs. The house was comfortable and had enough items in the kitchen to cook modest meals. Our kids had a great time here. Only comments I would make about the property is to be mindful when exiting the driveway as the traffic goes pretty fast on the road and it can be a little dangerous if you are not careful. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to others.

The Perfect Stay

This property exceeded our expectations in every way but the last one was the best:Beachfront Paradise: The beach is your backyard. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breathtaking ocean views from the deck were highlights of our stay.Perfect Location: Close enough to explore St. Augustine, yet secluded enough to feel like you're on a private island. The peace and quiet were incredible.Spacious and Comfortable: The home comfortably accommodates a family (and was perfect for our romantic getaway of just two). We loved the spacious living areas and the comfortable furnishings. Lots of space outside too with a fenced in yard for privacy and safety.Excellent Amenities: The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like labeled drawers.Exceptional Host Communication: The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, always available to answer our questions. Unforgettable Experience: The beauty of the home and the incredible support of the host made this the perfect setting for my proposal. I could not have had the elaborate set up or been able to make it a surprise without their support. Amazing View

We wanted a place for the 4 of us to be on the beach near St Augustine. This very clean home was exactly that. Not exactly luxury, but quaint, warm, and welcoming with an amazing view.

It was ok. Not happy with upstairs bathroom- low water pressure for old shower. Bathroom really needs upgrading. Kitchen not very well supplied, pots and pans were all scratched. No can opener could be found. On our last day checking out we found it way over in a basket we never knew it was there where the guest book was. Seating outside on deck needs higher seating due to interference of rail for ocean view. Inside stairs were very dangerous going up and down due to no rail. Dining room chairs were n very uncomfortable due to hurting back of legs. Needs some kind of cushions. Would not stay here again or recommend it. Thank you.

Cozy, Private Beach House… Just Needs a Few Touches

Cozy, but the family room, dining room, and kitchen give an open-concept feel. 3/4 panoramic views, though I mentioned to the host that he may want to put up blinds, as there are neighbors on both sides who can likely see into family room and dining room. Very quiet area. We hardly ever saw anyone else on the beach any closer than 75 yards (and we had some gorgeous, warm days there in late March). The home is relatively well taken care of, but as I mentioned to the host, it needs some small touches to make it better (e.g. an updated grill, bedside lamps in all the rooms, beach towels, versus the bath towels we used). Great location, as grocieries and restaurants in Vilano are 8 miles away, there’s a gas station (which also has basic sundries) a half mile away, and no public beach access nearby, which my partner and I have learned makes a HUGE difference on a beach rental experience. Overall, I’d recommend this home for sure. Hopefully if we book again, some of the minor issues I shared with the host will be fixed or addressed.

Stunning rustic beach house with views to die for

Spent a wonderful week at this charming beach house, enjoying everything it has to offer. Firstly, if you are looking for a modern, sleek, characterless beach house, then this is not for you - but if you want rustic charm (and sloping floors!), then go right ahead. Contact with Cameron with excellent with good information before we arrived, everything we needed to know to check in, and check out at the end of a fantastic week. We also arrived with no towels ourselves, and within a couple of hours of arriving, Cameron had arranged delivery of a fresh set so we had enough for the house and beach for the whole week. The house has everything we needed with good kitchen and dining facilities. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable (with space to spare with the 5 of us!). The open plan kitchen, diner and living space with the wraparound views of the beach and the sea were simply stunning. The outside deck has chairs a plenty, and a dining table to the side for al fresco eating. The garden area is great with a charcoal BBQ supplied (so much nicer than gas, and goes with the whole charm of the place). There are also beach chairs in the garage. Good washer and dryer also very useful. Then down the steps and a short hop across the dunes to a wide expanse of beach and the Atlantic ocean with good waves for boogie boarding, and swimming with dolphins, turtles and pelicans. We watched the turtle nests at the back of the property all week, but sadly no hatching - missed it by a week according to one of the helpful, chatty volunteers that check them every day - perhaps next time. 15 minutes down the road and across the bridge into St Augustine, with all the shops, restaurants you could ask for. This was an amazing week for us, and we were sad to leave. The peace of sitting on the deck in the early morning, supping a coffee and watching the dolphins swim across right in front of the sunrise was the absolute highlight of a superb stay.

Beach Stay

The house was nice. It has been rehabilitated, there are small areas where things don't work, close properly. In the master bedroom the door doesn't stay shut (maybe the floor is slightly uneven). The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook. The living room and family area is nice. There is 1 bedroom downstairs with (4 beds- a set of two bunk beds) and there is a full bathroom downstairs as well. The stairwell is quite narrow, so be careful. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (jack and Jill style)- whoever you stay upstairs with prepare to share a bathroom. The shower is a bit on the small side. There were no bath cloths, we had to purchase them. The TV has all of the apps that you need and the WiFi was good as well. Overall, we'd stay again. The views of the ocean were simply wonderful. Hope this helps.

Great house

The house is better than the pictures let on! I wish the kitchen had been better stocked with kitchenware, the floors are uneven, and there was no stopper for the tub, but all minor things. The view is unbelievable!

Birthday Get Away

Had a fantastic time at the beach house. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with family and it could not have gone any better. The down time on the ocean was incredible and you cannot beat the sunrise in the morning.

On the beach

The house is located directly on the beach. It has some great windows and deck to enjoy the view. It was almost like having our own private beach! Our favorite thing was watching the dolphin swimming about in the morning while we had our coffee. Check in and out was super easy.

Beach front is great

Love the location, the windows and the ocean front obviously. The wrap around deck is excellent with the side deck being a nice haven from the wind sometimes. I enjoyed my time there a lot. You are practically in the ocean. I like the remote location being 15 min from st Augustine gives it a more remote feel. The house was generally setup pretty well but it’s missing things like luggage racks, the fridge had a lot of stuff in it already. The owner while nice didn’t seem to know much about the house, and the outdoor shower was cold water only which I found very odd. Someone put some money into building the shower out like that. The house is great just need to do a little bit to make more renter friendly. Kitchen is dated but was mostly fine to me.
