"Lovely garden and outdoor spaces. Although our arrival, after 8pm, was complicated as the reception closes after 8, overall very good stay. Excellent breakfast. The tea and cake in the afternoon is a really nice touch. Only point worth noting is that a number of rooms give onto internal corridors and have limited natural light. Also, facilities in the room were a little basic (no chair, only one lamp for two bed side tables, and no hook to hang towels in the bathroom)."

"My girlfriend and I spent five nights at this pousada, which is in a charming spot on the edge of the colonial part of Paraty. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, and the pousada had a nice swimming pool. But there was no bar or food service other than breakfast and the owners were not all that friendly or helpful. Nonetheless we had a pleasant stay. "
