This self catered cottage #3 is set up with 1 bedroom with king bed or can have the option of 2 single beds (notify us in advance), fully equipped bathroom with walk in shower, and 2 extra single beds in the slide out sofa provided in the living area. Parking for your car is near the cottage. There is a flight of stairs to this cottage.
Surrounding the cottage are gardens with herbs for fresh grown tea or cooking, seasonal fruits to try, peaceful hidden areas to read your book with your morning coffee or listen to the birds as they go to sleep while enjoying a glass of Azorean wine.

Beautiful and clean environment but comes with critters (cockroaches).
The gardens were beautiful and the bungalow was clean. But, we were very troubled to share our bungalow with a few cockroaches. No matter how careful we were (doors and windows closed), we still had them inside.. I would also suggest that ceiling fans be added because it got very hot at night inside the bungalow. In the end, we hardly slept for 10 days, which made our stay deceiving.

Above all expectations
This place is just awesome. We stayed there for a week in early September of 2018. The location is perfect for island exploration - away from city traffic, close to highway and conveniently located right between east and west coasts. The place is absolutely secure, like a gated community. When we were away we were keeping the windows open while leaving our laptops and ipads on the table without any concern. The house was nice and clean, with well equipped kitchen (including espresso machine), comfortable beds and nice bathroom and shower. There was a gazebo outside with table and chairs, a couple of lawn chairs. And amazingly enough, THERE WERE NO MOSQITOES!!! Our host Bonita was extremely accommodating - she met us on arrival day, gave us lots of information about the island and local attractions, and also gave us a tour of her gardens with beautiful flowers and herbs. We definitely recommend this place and most likely will be back soon!

Ci siamo trovati bene
Eravamo nell'appartamento nr 3. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Immerso in un bellissimo giardino, personale gentile e appartamento ampio e comodo. Solo il letto non era comodissimo ma nulla di particolare. A disposizione anche il barbeque esterno. Comodo per visitare l'isola. Per la nostra esperienza consigliato.
