"We had a really relaxing time here. The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and helpful and if you want to lean more about the windmill then Google 'Vrouwgeest windmill' and learn how it has been in his family since 1797. "This was a great location mid-way between Rotterdam and Amsterdam, in a quiet village with grocery stores and restaurants. It was just minutes off the main highway. The lodging was a newly built on a canal; quiet, peaceful and with many kinds of birds and waterfowl. Hosts were helpful, friendly and always available to answer questions."

"I stayed here with my family for a week while visiting the Netherlands. The home is very clean and was as advertised. It is a short walk to the Uithoorn Station where you can easily visit Amsterdam. The available are great to explore the area, which is a very safe and clean area. There are two grocery stores within a short 4 minute walk. The host was great with communication before and during the trip. Highly recommend!"

"Staying at the Meetinn was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. The property is decorated in a beautiful European farmhouse style, and each guest room has it's own unique charm. There was farm animals and wildlife right outside the window each morning. It felt like a fairytale."

"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

"We loved our stay here- accodomations were perfect for 9 people, location was great to do days trips around the Netherlands but then come back to the peacefulness of the farm. Watching the cows walk back and forth to the barn was a highlight of our stay. Marga was very gracious and provided any assistance we asked for."

"Location was great. Chalet was well equipped with comfortable living space. Relaxing and chilled resort. Beds did not match the rest of the decor. They were low quality and not comfortable. Also the checkout regime of stripping the beds was a bit backpacker esque. Considering otherwise a quality resort. Last point, dog owners. Contrary to online description there are very few places within walking distance to walk a dog. Except along the road."

"The pictures listed for this stay don’t do it justice - the back patio is beautiful and the interior is very well equipped and decorated. Richard was an incredibly kind an attentive host. My friends and I loved hanging out on the front and back patios in the mornings, taking trips to Amsterdam during the day, and relaxing in the hot tub at night. Overall amazing stay! Thank you, Richard!!"

"The appartment was really big, spacious and 3 out of 4 walls were in windows, which made rhe room opened, bright. But had curtains to close at night. A small kitchen was also nice, just enough to use for basic dinner. Loved it. "
