"This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use....

The villa has great outdoor space including seating, sunbeds, barbecue and a private pool (well kept by Salvatore) - short walk to beaches for swimming and snorkelling (we preferred the public beach 5 mins walk away but there is a private beach too for just a few villas). Out of Cefalù so not so busy and only a short drive to bakery, supermarket and restaurant. Not easy to walk to nearby restaurant as roads are busy with no path but can walk along the beach. The...

"The house: 5* Attractive house, three exceptionally clean bathrooms and good, hot, strong showers. Well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave coffee machine, freezer). All the bedrooms had working aircon. Outdoor space with a huge dining table, in addition to lounge chairs and table tennis table (all equipment provided). Salvatore and his parents prepare the property beautifully - welcome pack of food and water, wine in fridge. Anti-mosquito plug-ins provided throughout house....

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. We would definitely return given the chance."

"Amazing spot just outside the bustle of Cefalú. Very picturesque and very kind host. Be aware the kitchen is up 2 flights of stairs ( if you are traveling with an elder, as I was). We were also told upon arrival that we only rented 2 of the 4 bedrooms in the listing, which was confusing. We only needed 2 so it was ok, but there was no discount in price. We unfortunately left a day early due to all the stairs. Other than that a very sweet spot I would highly recommend."

"Most idyllic place high in the hills above Cefalu with wonderful views Very quiet with lovely space to relax and gardens But the road to the property is not all in good condition with some potholes and unsurfaced sections Also extremely steep in sections which eventually resulted in us moving to a more accessible location. A real shame as we wanted to stay for the whole period but damaged our hire cars on reaching the house"

"We was have great time in villa, absolutely amazing view. Salvatore was living up stairs but we don't hear him at all,he was look after garden and pool very early so don't disturb us.
