"This villa is huge with 4 double bedrooms (one en-suite) and a large living area. There is a lovely pool outside with 4 sunbeds.We also used the bbq area which is very well equipped and has an adjacent sink. There are lots of terraces for sitting and sunbathing but also shade available too. The villa is in a residential area and there isn’t much in walking distance so you do need a car( does say this in description and we hired a car for the whole stay). Valencia is about 30 mins drive away....

"We had a good stay, it was quiet and relaxing. There were a couple of things damaged from the previous tenant which wasn't a great impression. The lock on the door broke which meant extra vigilance was needed to avoid getting locked in or out, and the pool was not clear which we pointed out within 5 minutes of our arrival, Claire was responsive but it still took 3 days until the pool guy put something in the pool specifically to clear it. I just put it down to bad luck but I was on holiday...

"The Villa was very nice and had everything you would need. The outside space was amazing, The pool Is lovely and clean and was bigger enough for our 3 kids to enjoy. The views are spectacular with the surrounding areas very peaceful. Just right to enjoy a relaxing holiday. There was plenty of seating area and sun beds, Also a good, shaded area to avoid the heat of the Sun. The Owners were quick to respond to any Questions, Also provided key information for our stay. The photos don’t do the property justice - from being welcomed at the gate to being given a detailed tour of the property and how everything worked. "Check-in was alright. Steps in the dark are very dangerous. There are 2 motion sensored lights that last maybe 5 seconds each. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold. The house was very cold when we arrived and through the first night. We found out later that someone turned off the thermostat. The Internet didn’t work for 2 days. The host stayed in contact and we finally figured it out. Again… someone had reset it. The furniture in the living room is not the same as the pictures. Not...

"This property has everything you need for a great vacation. We were 5 adults and 2 kids who had a great time in this house. We had som tours in the area but mostly the kids wanted to be at the pool. The area is quite apart from barking dogs, but that’s a common problem throughout Spain. We can recommend this house for families."

"Lovely villa with absolutely stunning views. If you are looking for scenery and alot less people then this is the place for you. Definately need a car. Valencia beach, which is also amazing is about 1 hour again but there is a lovely lake nearby to also swim in. If you like hustle amd bustle not the place for you but if chilaxing is your thing, stock up at the supermarket and enjoy the place."

"We couldn't have asked for a lovelier vacation in Spain. Henri, Inge and Flynn greeted us. They stayed in contact throughout the trip, checking to be sure all was well and that we were enjoying our stay. The villa was immaculate with so much style. The grounds were well kept and had lots of special areas to coalesce and enjoy the beautiful landscaping. We'll be back! Thank you, Henri and Inge, for a special time in Spain we'll never forget."

"Vaste maison très bien décorée, vue magnifique, trois terrasses. A flanc de colline, 146 marches. Sport quotidien, avec la piscine très bien et la table de ping pong dans le garage. 2 places de pkg ombragées. Clim dans les chambres, un peu bruyante. Micro ondes defectueux."

"Very clean, but you will need to supply basics like toilet paper, laundry detergent, hand soap etc. It may be that European VRBO properties do not include such items compared to US properties. Bed are ok - FD full bed in primary bedroom was comfortable but twin bed mattresses were not. Pillows are unusual - long and thin. Overall, a very nice stay. "This lovely villa in a fabulous location is let down by the poor maintenance and inadequate supplies. Several light bulbs need replacing; the aircon units are extremely dusty, blowing detritus into the room when first turned on; flush on downstairs loo doesn't always shut off and we had to buy a knife sharpener to get useable knives. Plus this is the first time we've arrived at a self-catering property – and we've done lots – with no supplies in the kitchen; nada: no condiments, no welcome...

"Great outside space (two major terraces plus other smaller ones), the tech all worked (fast wifi, air conditioning, kitchen, BBQ) and an amazing pool. Very quiet location at the end of a road, and lovely views across the valley. Communication with the owner was easy, very friendly and efficient. You will need a car, several supermarkets 15 minutes away in Gandia, a bit further to the beach."

Great stay, would go back in a heartbeat

"I would highly recommend Exe. We stayed on a half-board basis, and the food in both, breakfast and dinner, were outstanding. So was the service provided by all the staff members everywhere, dining, and lobby. Very close to the more modern section of the City; yet still walkable (30 min) to old town."

Berklee or Bust

"Popped in to Valencia to explore at the weekend. My son is interested in attending Berklee and its in a great location. A 5 min walk from hotel Barcelo which had great spacious rooms. The breakfast was quite something and the staff are super friendly. The only knock was my water was barely warm in my shower. The rooftop deck provides a good view and a draught beer was 5 euro. Fun stay in a super clean hotel."

Great location and amazing staff

"We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming especially Carlos who helped us with our needs. He recommended the best paella restaurant in Valencia for my birthday lunch and we definitely enjoyed that meal. The location is also in the very center of the city so everything is pretty close by and lots of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was pretty good even though it was the same selection everyday there’s a few choices to choose from so it’s was good. We had the standard room and it was pretty good size. We definitely enjoyed our stay in the Venecia Hotel. "
