bad experience for a first timer
i didn't stay in the property because the owner cancelled due to them having covid, but he never refunded my money and VRBO promised to help and process the refund but they never did. And this is after several calls and texts with the owner as well as chatting and calling with VRBO several times, including talking to their manager who promised she will escalate and have someone call me but never did. This is my first time to try VRBO and there will never be a second time! So please stay away if you don't want to experience the same thing I did. It totaly spoiled my vacation because he cancelled less than a week and I got too stressed out because I was already in the middle of my trip and had to take care of getting a hotel replacement at the last minute. Totally unacceptable and expedia should look into this company since they own them and the quality of their service and business practice of both the host and management should be looked into because apparently there are others who have gone through the same thing. I wasted precious time and energy calling and texting them including giving the host my bank account number because he said he needs sit to refund the money. It looks like he never planned too because it's now almost 3 weeks and he hasn't done anything. in fact, he never responded to my calls and texts after I gave him my bank account number. So beware of these scammers!
