"What an unique location. The only way to get across to the hotel is by hand pulled raft or a small rowing boat if you don't have any large luggage. The hotel is so tranquil and in beautiful grounds. Modern bathroom. One of the few places we stayed where the room had a safe. Also they allow you to use the pool & spa after check out if you have a late flight. Excellent dinner options served. Some people might think the rooms on the small size considering the price paid."

From the balcony of our room, we had the most breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. It was absolutely mesmerizing and made our stay feel extra special. My partner and I spent just one night here, but we loved every moment. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—shops and restaurants are just a short walk away, yet the hotel feels peaceful and secluded, with nature all around. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We also used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was really convenient. From the moment I arrived, everything was taken care of, allowing me to dive straight into the adventure. Despite being budget-friendly, the hotel offers excellent facilities. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything in perfect working order—including a kettle, which was a thoughtful touch. The bed was cozy, and after long, adventure-packed days, it was a relief to have such a comfortable place to recharge. The location is another bonus—just off the main road, it’s peaceful while still close to the action. It’s about a 10-minute stroll to Lakeside, and there’s even a huge park across the road for morning runs. One of the most memorable parts of my stay was meeting fellow guests, who were all friendly and easygoing. In a fun twist, the pilot from my helicopter ride to Base Camp was staying next door! "We stayed for 4 nights and were upgraded to a 4th floor pool view with balcony as apparently we had paid too much through Hotels.com for the garden hut. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the lake. The staff were all very friendly and special shout out to Samah who was particularly efficient. The evening cover band and dance show was entertaining. Good location too. Only negative was that breakfast plates weren’t cleared away very quickly which encouraged flies and a couple of birds. But overall would definitely recommend."

"The Bar Peepal Resort exceeded our expectations. The staff was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. They were friendly, always eager to help, always smiling, and went the extra mile. They immediately told us about activities we might enjoy and booked a Hot Air Balloon excursion, a highlight, and a massage at their lovely spa. The food at the restaurant was amazing - with views of the lake and the lakeside town. We highly recommend this truly wonderful hotel!"

"Loved Temple Tree. Such lovely and helpful staff. Property was very pretty—nice pool and even a hot jacuzzi. Rooms were great, breakfast spread very nice. Well located right next to the lake and an easy walk into the heart of “downtown.” Really enjoyed our stay there."
