"This is an absolutely beautiful and special place. Our room/suite was huge inside with a nice sitting area, a gigantic bathroom and very large bedroom. Wraparound balcony. The beach faces east to the Atlantic and mostly no one is there, outrageously gorgeous. Sunrise is spectacular. The restaurant has very nice freshly made food, very thoughtfully prepared, tasty. Less local-style cuisine than we would prefer and not a super wide array of options for vegetarians staying for 5-6 days but still very enjoyable and they are very accommodating. Fantastic included breakfasts. Pool is great, small but few people using it, and very nice, clean, good temperature. The grounds are beautiful, lush green with flowers, and the sounds (birds, frogs etc) are fabulous. The river is very pretty going down to the sea. The gym is cute and we did use it. There is no AC in it and the humidity is intense to work out in but I was glad for the opportunity. This is not the place for people looking to be around populated-type activities like going out to eat, and not easily accessible to the west coast tourist attractions. It’s also not a luxury-type resort with fancy-place vibes. This is for you if you are looking for remote, quiet, reasonably-priced real nature spot that is unique and special and has a local feel to it. Clean and comfortable and incredibly peaceful with stunning natural beauty. "

"Our family of 5- 20 something grown kids- all scuba divers. We love adventure travel- especially to SCUBA Dive.... and this trip was it.Pinard Mountain Village will pick you up at the airport if you want. If not... Make sure you have a car with clearance... the road up can wash out and has some challenges.They can cook meals for you. Close to Diving.Close to water falls and hot springs.Awesome views."

Initially, we were supposed to stay in a smaller cottage, but due to a mix-up, we were upgraded to an amazing house, which turned out to be a fantastic surprise. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and everything was perfect. The highlight was the breathtaking view from the patio—it was truly spectacular. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay special, even giving us a detailed tour of the property and sharing fascinating information about the vegetation. We loved being able to pick and enjoy fresh fruits straight from the trees—it was such a unique and delightful experience. "Personal, friendly and welcoming staff. Our unit was spacious and private but needed screens in our windows. No air conditioning, so the need of fans and windows opened were necessary. Shuttle service to and from the airport need to be listed as an amenity for the property. The road to the property is precarious to say the least, and taxi cabs do not want to go the last 1/4 mile. Obtain the telephone number to the property and they will meet you where the pavement ends. Seclusion and peace are wonderful attributes there. Would love to return for another visit. We spent 10 days there. Food is available but you need to know the hours of availability and let them know what what meal periods you will be attending."
