Off grid island yurt experience where you can relax, unplug and enjoy what nature has to offer on this quiet remote island in the Great Lakes. Island Good features an onsite art gallery, shop and studio offering a multitude of classes and unique items. Nestled in a grove of cedar trees, the yurts are situated to offer water views and forest views. The beach is a rock hounds dream and an assortment of unique geologic treasures- especially fossils, geodes, pudding stones and the occasional agate. Other amenities include: onsite parking, walking trails, solar lights, outhouse, heated shower, fully screened outdoor kitchen equipped with cookware, dishes, full sized refrigerator, grill with burners, and seating. We also offer private art classes, art camp for kids, guided island hikes, bicycles and kayaks for rent. Lesbian owned and operated (and we have kids so bring the family). LGBTQ welcomed and preferred! It’s a great place to get away, relax, unplug, write your book, make art, reconnect with the Earth and reconnect with each other.
