"We recently stayed in the space above the tavern, which is part of Olema House, and overall, we had a nice experience. Check-in was smooth and seamless, and the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room met—and honestly exceeded—our expectations in terms of comfort and design. That said, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Leading up to our stay, I tried to contact the hotel multiple times over the span of a couple weeks with no luck. It wasn’t until one or two days before our check-in that I was finally able to get someone on the phone. That delay was frustrating and made it hard to plan ahead. We had dinner at Due West, and the food was good. However, the service was inconsistent—we had to repeatedly ask for simple things like utensils, water, and sauces. The staff was kind, just a bit forgetful. The biggest drawback was the noise on the night of our stay. When we returned to our room around 9:00–9:15 PM, there was a party on the property that was extremely loud and definitely affected the peaceful experience we were hoping for. As for the property itself—it’s charming, but parts of it feel a bit worn. The outdoor fire pit area, for example, had mismatched and weathered furniture that didn’t quite align with the price point or the “luxury” label. All that being said, I did enjoy our visit and would stay here again. The property is beautiful and has a lot of potential,it just needs a bit more consistency and polish to fully ask high rat"

"We really enjoyed the quiet and cleanliness of the property and the engaging personality of the host. An issue regarding the lack of heat in the unit was resolved the next day, after a frigid night, but could have been resolved sooner had we had a way to contact the host by phone. Unfortunately, we did not have phone signal in the unit (we did have WIFI for emails) but we could make calls from town, just down the hill from where the unit was located. Still, once we had everything figured out, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again in the future."

"The beach cottage is perfect for a long weekend or short beach getaway. The beach is super dog friendly with both rocky and sandy beach area. And the house is more than cozy with all the amenities. Only downside is that there is only one shop/restaurant to walk to. Loved it! "

It was clean, check in process was easy, location is amazing and Linda is easy to communicate with and always happy and gave us great tips on where to eat and what activities were available to us in the area. "This house was perfect for a team-bonding weekend for a group of physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The house was massive and had breath-taking views of the ocean. The living room and dining room stole the show for sure, and the huge kitchen was great as well. The kitchen had absolutely everything you need, with countless utensils, pans, serving platters, baking sheets, cutting boards, and silverware. There was a beautiful espresso machine, along with a drip coffee maker and a French press.We were able to fit five standard cars in the driveway by parking the first four perpendicular to the garage, and the last one parallel to the street. The rest of the cars we parked outside the HOA and it was an easy shuttle back and forth. The host was responsive and the check in/out process was very easy. It was great that the two en-suite bathrooms also had doors to the hallways, so that all four bathrooms could be shared. Luxurious towels!A few tips:-Two of the bathrooms have faucet handles that are very small and very difficult to turn, so if you have elderly people or people with arthritic hands in your group, you may want to give them the other two bathrooms to use. -The hot tub is only accessible through one of the bedrooms, so don't assign that bedroom to someone who goes to bed early ;) -The igniter on the BBQ can be finicky, but there are two hand-held igniters in one of the drawers. Highly recommend, and definitely hope to be back. "
