Our newest vacation cottage, the Bookkeeper's Room, is a beautifully finished and furnished studio perfect for that romantic getaway. In its standard configuration guests will enjoy a memory foam King size bed with views of the Lighthouse Tower and Fog Signal Building from the front door and bedroom windows. It can also be configured to accommodate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guests. The tastefully decorated unit provides guests with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and 55" flat screen TV with DishTV service. Enjoy the warmth of the radiant heat flooring in the bedroom and bathroom and the beautifully tiled bathroom with large roll in shower. All of our rentals include unlimited access to our 23 acre Outdoor Museum. Visit our Light Station Store and Indoor Museum, housed in the historic 1896 Fog Signal Building and containing the original 1st Order Fresnel lens from the 1908 Tower, anytime between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily (4:30 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day). Tours of the Lighthouse Tower can be arranged by checking with the Light Station Store Associate at the store counter. Tower Tours are conducted around every 20 minutes with the first Tour at 10:15 a.m. and the last around 4 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 3 p.m. the rest of the year. You will also find a welcome gift bottle of Husch Vineyards wine and chocolates from Mendocino Chocolate Company waiting for you in the room.
