"Beautiful place"

"Salvadonica is set amongst the stunning hills of Tuscany, nearest the town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. (Great little village) It is remote, but worth the ride. The grounds are stunning & meticulous. The staff are incredibly accommodating. Vincenzo! The food and wine offerings are truly Tuscan and tasty! Their breakfast is as good as you will find. The rooms are charming & sparking clean - beautiful tile throughout. The agri-hotel is safe. Bring a car, but take a hike down the path to Mercatale as well to visit a little town as well. I give this property and their staff the highest recommendation! "

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "

"Beautiful hotel and awesome location. Hotel is located at the edge of Siena central city. An easy walk to the city with the added benefit of being in a quiet location. We loved Siena! The grounds were beautiful as was the hotel and room. The room was a spacious apartment with a large bedroom full of windows overlooking the beautiful grounds. Also,a comfortable king bed with an attached living room and kitchen. We cooked in our room one night with the supplies from the large grocery store a short walk from the hotel. Dishes, utensils and cooking pans supplied in the room. The train and bus terminal were a short walk from the hotel for easy connections to other areas. We loved this hotel so much we extended our stay an extra day. "

"We had a stop over here on our way to Florence..the hotel central location with great architecture,rich in local history. Museum of old agricultural machinery but also great modern touches. Enjoyed the spa, staff arranged a last minute couples massage for us...."
