"This was our 3rd time at John Carver. Reception was excellent. The location is awesome, under 10 minute walk to the waterfront, and shopping, dining, breweries and entertainment. Our room was clean and quiet. But walking down the corridor about 10:30 at night, some rooms with kids were very loud for that time of night and I was thankful we weren’t adjacent to them. The inn has an indoor pool, so there was a very strong smell of chlorine in the public areas, but not our room. Nice recessed lighting in the room, mini frig and a keurig. Plus CJs restaurant is accessible via an indoor hall from the hotel. Bed comfy enough, good water pressure in shower. HVAC system good as well. "

"I had a quick one night stay at this property and I have to say it’s pretty much perfect! Walkable to the ferry very cute nicely decorated. I am sure it’s much more expensive in the summer, but this is where I will stay when I visit the island!"
