"Great place, and very nice and helpful staff!"

"The Teak Gardens is a lovely place to stay in Chiang Kong. It’s a lovely property overlooking the Mekong River. Staff is kind and friendly, food was good. I stayed here for 10 days while doing a VISA run to Laos. My only small complaint was that the cafe did not have watermelon juice. lol…. The Onsen is nice touch and surprised to find. Would stay here again if ever in the area. "

"The views are sensational, but only 1 plug socket on one side of bed, no bedside tables or lights, the set of stairs to get to the 1st floor rooms were like climbing mount Everest. However the staff were more then helpful. The rooms were cleaned ok, the railings on the balcony were filthy. My girlfriend had to clean. Only 1 chair on balcony. But nice and quiet away from the noise of traffic in town"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Fortune River View Hotel. I had a room facing the Mekong and it was beautiful. There is a walkway right out front of the hotel where you can walk, run, or ride your bike and it goes for quite a ways. I had dinner in the restaurant and not only was the food good, the portions were quite large."

"Property advertises as a resort, but there only pool was under repairs due to some leaks. What was extremely disappointing is that they did not warn us about the broken pool. This was extremely selfish, as reservation clearly had indicated we are arriving with young children."
