Bigfoot Chalet is a nature lover’s oasis. As a guest at Bigfoot, you'll enjoy a cozy living room space with a fireplace (exceptionally comfortable sectional); an ideal setting for deep conversation, a great book or a game night. (Lots of books and games to choose from.)
On your arrival, you will find pancake mix and local maple syrup to enjoy during your stay, a selection of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, apple cider and dairy and nondairy creamers. A welcome binder will tell you everything you need to know about Bigfoot Chalet and offer suggestions of local activities, restaurants and shopping.
During your stay, you will cook in a full kitchen featuring cooking oils, spices, pots, pans, crockpot, toaster, juicer and more. After you've prepared a delectable dinner, you will enjoy it around a large rustic dining table with bench and chair seating.
You and your guests will sleep in three bedrooms featuring two queen beds, two twin beds, and on an overflow sleeper sofa in the den if needed.
Despite your majestic, remote surroundings you won't miss your favorite sporting events or television shows. Bigfoot features two televisions with Dish TV and streaming, a DVD player and a small selection of DVDs.
In the warmer months, you'll enjoy your morning coffee on the upper or lower deck or out in the yard in an Adirondack chair by the firepit.
On a clear night, you'll gaze up at the sky awed by the magnificence of the stars in a sky free of light pollution.
As a guest at Bigfoot you will explore two acres of land (both open and wooded) and many more down the dirt road in either direction. In the winter you will snowshoe (a selection of snowshoes are available), x-country ski, snowmobile, walk and ski at nearby ski mountains. In the warmer months you'll hike, walk, golf and kayak on nearby lakes.
If you are looking for a natural oasis in the woods you will find it in Bigfoot Chalet.

REVIEWS
"Location! Location! So close to ski areas and cute towns to explore. The house is nestled on a woodsy, quiet country road away from the hustle and bustle. Hop in your car and you are close to everything you need: skiing, hiking, biking, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, etc. The house is extremely cozy, clean and welcoming! All the beds and mattresses were so comfy."

"Perfect little place. Awesome little cabin in the woods. Secluded enough for pitch darkness at night, but 15 minutes from a grocery store or gas station. We had three in our group but could easily do three couples comfortably. Nice big eating table. Awesome yard. Firepit. Could definitely see coming back here. We brought the motorcycles and explored what Vermont had, and it didn't disappoint. Great communication with host."

"We had a beautiful time just disconnecting and reconnecting with each other. Definitely looking forward to coming back."

"Cute chateau and great location. This was our first trip to Vermont and we couldn't have asked for a better host or place to stay. Jeanne was great about communicating to suggest things to see and making sure we had what we needed. Even a later check out time. We will definitely stay again when we're out this way."
