Not a very relaxing place to stay!
The main positive about the cottage is the location - it is just a few minutes walk to the waterfront and barbican area where you will find everything you need for a wonderful visit to Plymouth.
The cottage however is not a very restful place to stay. There are 2 quite challenging staircases to negotiate which include places where you have to duck to avoid banging your head. The bedroom is on the top floor and the only toilet is on the ground floor so it is particularly difficult if you need to use the bathroom during the night! The bathroom itself is minute - there is not enough room to clean your teeth over the sink!
The cottage is a quirky old building so these are not matters which an owner could change but the listing should make some of these issues clear. The cottage is clean and well-equipped and its quirky character would probably make it a fun place to stay for some but we found the challenges prevented it from being a relaxing stay and when we are on holiday we'd like to stay somewhere where it is easy to relax.
