"Excellent hotel for a few days in Luxembourg. A 5-10 min walk from the airport, the room was clean, beef comfortable and had tea and coffee with a kettle. Excellent shower, all very clean. Very warm. Buffet breakfast was €12.50 each (02/25) and excellent - hot bacon potatoes and scrambled egg. Continental meats, cheese & pickles. "We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. This is a wonderful property but the hosts are the key to a terrific time.If your trip is for business the internet is slow for large uploads and downloads, but that is Germany in general, not the best internet in all the B&B’s in Germany to include hotels.But if you are looking for a tranquil retreat, a beautiful house, location and one of the best hosts I have ever had, this is the place for you."
