"We are a large family group and this venue was perfect in giving us all our own space but also some excellent communal spaces to come together. The pool and outside space was excellent and there was nothing else we needed in the house - everything has been thought about and provided and Sebastien was on hand for anything we needed too. "We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. "We have stayed in many french gites over the years, but this farmhouse in the grounds of a beautiful chateau is exceptional. The location, close to Malestroit and Ploermel was excellent for shopping and visiting the markets and many larger towns were less than 30 minutes away. Helene was a great host, who was friendly, informative and helpful. She personally ensured the swimming pool was kept scrupulously clean and open from 8am to 8pm everyday - much appreciated on some very hot days. Highly...
