A refurbushed house, it has quirks but also modern amenities like AC, lovely bath, etc. The welcome from the staff was great; having guest names written on little chalkboards to welcome us is a cute touch. "I used to work in an office next to this hotel, but only now just got a chance to stay in it. Morning buffet is very good, rooms are clean and interior design is nice. Location is a bit far from the center. Shower design is a bit odd, water spills out from the shower cabin into the bathroom, but this is common everywhere in Bulgaria."

Stayed for two nights and the trains go through all night, with loud tannoy announcements etc. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, but we were disappointed to have such a noisy room when it's a large hotel and didn't appear to be full.
