"John and I are in our 70s and stayed at The Manoir du Roselier with our daughter and son-in-law. I can honestly say that we have stayed in many wonderful hotels over our 54 years together but this one is way beyond exceptional. "I had a lovely time at the Hotel Le Beaufort from the minute I arrived until I checked out. The reception staff was warm and welcoming, as were the restaurant staff. I decided to change my room choice at the last minute, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. My room was a bay window first-floor room with a tub. One night in St Malo.

"We were a few lads returning to Guernsey and just needed a hotel for one night before early ferry next day. I would have loved to have stayed longer and taken advantage of the pool and gym. Lovely comfortable bed and great shower. I do miss my kettle in the room but you can get free tea/coffee at reception. Once they realised that we were checking out so early the receptionist arranged for breakfast to be available. Secure car park, short walk to bus stop for the old town. "
