"The apartment was small but adequate, very clean and tidy. I missed not having an oven to entertain guests and no extra blankets were available. There was a broken chair that nearly caused a calamity and the lounge room cushions needed some attention. The instructons to get in did not arrive until the morning of our arrival - I would have preferred them at least the day before for reassurance. It was quiet and cosy but we needed to leave the reverse cycle heater on overnight for warmth."

The hosts involved the children in the morning feeding schedule with the donkeys, alpacas, the goat Princess Mary and the long horn Highland cattle along with explaining interesting characteristics. A stroll with the dogs around the property on a crisp morning and visit the horses. There was plenty of space to run, specially made climbing equipment and inside activities at the barbecue hut.
