"My friend and I are writers, and we came to this cottage to work on our books. It was the perfect location with the sunrise views over the water from the magnificent porch. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cozy, and beautiful. We had one small hiccup with the heat, but the manager, David, showed up immediately and the problem was rectified promptly. I loved it and we would absolutely stay there again."

"This beautiful cabin was cozy and modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully well-equipped. Everything we needed was provided. Multiple places inside and outside for gathering and relaxing; a cute kitchen with all the necessities; and the super-efficient wood stove was easy to use. It was a great base for exploring nearby, but also comfortable for just hanging out and enjoying the quiet. Thank you for sharing this amazing place."

"We picked this property because it sounded like just what we needed for a short vacation. It fit the bill. Very cozy. The owner was super nice and responded to questions immediately. We didn't prepare any meals but everything was there to do so. Likewise, the "in case you forgot" selection was quite comprehensive. We would definitely stay here again."

"My husband & I stayed for a week. Owner was available & even turned some lights in for us since we were arriving after dark. The cottage was clean & comfortable. "This was our second stay in Port Clyde and with this host. The properties were both impeccable and well kempt. They make check-in and check-out very easy. I'd highlight that if you're traveling to Port Clyde and expect to see the historic General Store, it is no longer there. "Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. "
