"This is our 3rd time staying here, we love this historic home, it is in very good condition. The home is very clean, well stocked, the layout is very good and the communication with the host is also very good. We love the brook going by. It is close to Smith College where our daughter goes to school. We also enjoy the many other places and things to do in this area. Even after our daughter graduates I can see us coming back to this home and part of Massachusetts. "

"Every need accommodated including a back-up generator! Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Very cozy and spacious home inside. Very comfortable bed mattress in master bedroom. Lots of yard for dogs to run free. Nature all around. Lots of books and board games there. Laundry room was a big plus. Remote setting but lots to see and explore within reach. Very lovely stay and hosts were very responsive."

"Pristine can mean several different things. My interpretation was to be “like new”. This dwelling did not quite live up to that standard, but was clean, sans the “mud room” and what appeared to be mold on the peak of the ceiling above the living room. The original listing stated firewood was provided by the host. Then, the checkin instructions stated guests provided their own. Not huge, just misstated in the listing (since changed). "It is a beautiful home with a ton of space (we only had 3 people, but it easily sleeps 6), very clean and well-kept. Our hosts provided everything we needed to make our stay perfect. I also like that the hosts were not overboard with all the rules, as with some other rentals. The hosts were beyond friendly and had excellent communication throughout the whole process. If you are looking for a lovely home with a ton of space to stay while exploring Vermont and Massachusetts, I highly recommend...

"We loved this large, well-kept home. The house has tons of room, so even though we had a large group, everyone found space and we never felt crowded. The kitchen/dining area is a great space for gathering and sharing a meal. And, the younger members of our group loved the hot tub and large yard for playing in. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with. We hope to be back!"

"We loved the property! Our family, which included 2 very young grandchildren all felt comfortable in this historic home with 2 modern bathrooms. I loved the open kitchen and family rooms, and the original wide plank floors. Plus, we were happy to find toys to entertain the 3 year old. The owners were very gracious and responsive.
