Accommodations
Enjoy a comfortable stay in this stunning cabana where you can sleep on a king size or a full-size bed with gel memory foam mattress. You will have your own private bathroom with hot and cold water, a sink, a toilet, and a shower. There is also a clock, a safe, a coffee maker, cream, sugar, tea, and a flat screen TV in your cabana. While we don’t offer air conditioning in our accommodations, rest assured, the fans and the cool tropical breeze will keep you comfortable during your entire stay.
Rates include continental breakfast along with a welcome drink upon arrival. Round-trip boat transfers from Placencia to the island is included for stays of two or more nights. Complimentary Check-In & Check-out transfers are included for stays for more than two nights Off schedule boat transfers and one-night-stay boat transfers are US$250.00 + 12.5% tax for 1 – 6 persons.
All-Inclusive Meal Package
Our all-inclusive meal package includes:
1.All meals starting from dinner on arrival to breakfast on departure.
2. All local drinks (beers, rum, vodka, gin), juices, sodas, water, coffee, and tea. (Exclusive of blended and frozen drinks. Top shelf spirits also not included but guests are free to bring their own if on an all-inclusive plan. Otherwise, outside food and beverages are not allowed.)
Rates are US$130.00/person/day and subject to 12.5% General Sales Tax. All-inclusive meal plan without any beverages and children under 10 are both US$90 + 12.5% per person, per night. We are always happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences provided we are given advanced notice.
Travel to Island
Departure from Placencia to the Island: The transportation from Placencia to the island is scheduled to depart at 2:00 PM. Please make sure to arrive at the designated meeting point, MnM dock in Placencia, with ample time to spare.
Departure from the Island to Placencia: The return transportation from the island to Placencia is scheduled to depart at 11:00 AM. We recommend planning your departure accordingly to ensure you have enough time to catch your onward transportation.
For those who require transportation outside of these specified times, private transfer options can be organized through our reliable third-party provider. Additionally, local ground or air transfers to Placencia can be arranged. This ensures that you can tailor your travel arrangements to suit your preferences and needs.
If you are driving, safe public parking can be found directly in front of the local police station located less than 5 minutes from the MnM dock.
When traveling to Belize City International Airport from Placencia, we can provide two transportation options:
1. Scenic Ground Transfer (2-3 hours)
Up to 4 Persons: US $350
Each additional person: US $20
Children under 12 ride free
2. Domestic Commuter Flight and Airport Transfer (30 minutes)
Cost: US $160 per person (one-way)
For those who require boat transportation outside of the specified times, private transfer options can be organized through our reliable third-party provider.
Travel Recommendations:
Considering the remote location of the island, we recommend booking flights that depart from the Philip Goldson International Airport later in the evening or spending an additional night on the mainland before your departure. This will help ensure that you have sufficient time to travel from the island to the airport and begin the check-in process at least 2 hours before scheduled departure.
Weather Conditions and Travel Delays:
Please be aware that weather conditions can sometimes lead to choppy seas, which may potentially impact the timing of travel to or from the island. While we always strive to provide a smooth travel experience, safety is our utmost priority. We appreciate your understanding in case of any travel delays caused by adverse weather conditions.
Things to Note
1.We are a family friendly island and can accommodate children of all ages. Children ≥3yrs old pay extra person rate of US$60.00 per night plus 9% hotel tax and 10% service charge and Extra adults at a nightly rate of US$80 + 19%
2.We accept cash and credit card (Visa & Master Card) on the island.
3.Overnight stays allows unguided access to paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel equipment and all other games.
4.Room comes equipped with Coffee Maker and cream and sugar. Tissue, bath towels, shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash provided in bathrooms.
5.Tipping is at your discretion and always appreciated but never expected. All tips are entirely distributed among the employees with no portion retained by the resort. If they desire, guests can leave tips for staff at the end of their stay when paying their bill by cash or credit card.
6.Electricity and water on the island is off-grid. Electricity is standard U.S. 110 volt, 60 cycle AC from our inverters charged by our solar array and backup generators. Our water is excellent; produced by our reverse osmosis desalinization plant. Rain water is harvested and hot water in each cabana is provided by on demand gas heaters. We want you to be comfortable, but encourage energy and water conservation as well. We strive, as best as possible, to reduce our carbon footprint, providing guests with sustainable and eco-friendly amenities, services, and experiences that not only enhance their stay but also contribute positively to the environment.
