"Had an absolute great time. The property is very beautiful. Cabin is really cozy, however the bed situation needs some work. The bed in the basement is in a room in the basement with nothing in the room beside a bed and old basement smell. All the mattresses in the cabin are in extremely rough shape. Not a good sleeping experience. Lots of rules about where you can and can't go, put a vehicle, if you mess up a bed but don't sleep in it incurs fees, you have to bring your own firewood. We found this campground/retreat center online and it was much more affordable than many of the other properties we looked at and provided the space we needed for our extended family joining us. "My husband and I as well as our oldest daughter and son in law stayed in cabin 9. It was perfect in many ways, very welcoming. Peaceful nature but close to town and MIS for Nascar. Our host, John, was very helpful. I would recommend a nightlight for the cabin as it is very dark if you have to get up in the middle of the night. Highly recommend. "
