Place was nice. We did find some trash. No one could sleep in upstairs because the rooms had a lot of lady bugs and horse flies. There was a TV of sorts that didn’t work.

Cabin on the river
Everything was very nice, despite all the rain and having to stay indoors with our 2 dogs. We enjoyed waking up every morning and watching river change from all the rain. Its not every day you get to wake with a river at your back door! Thank you Andrea for allowing us to enjoy your place.

Peaceful!
Quiet, secluded, and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. View of rapids was fantastic and the property was covered with trails for walking.

Beware of lady bugs
Booking and checkin this property was a breeze. But once we reached the place, I found that there were lot of dead lady bugs and live bugs inside home everywhere. Mainly in the bathroom and bedrooms. I had to clean the place for around and hr with the vacuum. But again I noticed that I couldn’t clean the entire place as it was everywhere. When we wanted to check the loft, it was considerably more than the first floor. It kept coming our entire stay and I captured lot of pics too. When I reached the property manager, the answer I got is “it’s lady bug season”. I know it’s the season but I don’t expect the bugs inside home when I plan a vacation. I am really sorry to say this, we don’t expect a vacation like this with bugs. My kids were scared and not comfortable with the stay. Other than house, the location was wonderful but this place really needs a deep cleaning.

Great property
The cabin is as advertised, has pots/pans, towels, keurig, etc. The owner was super responsive to messages Property is beautiful and very private, our dogs loved walking the property! My only suggestion to anyone who is bringing ATV’s by trailer is to park at the top of the driveway. The driveway is very long and hilly, so trailering to the nearby trails is a bit of a process if you park down below by the cabin

Excellent location!
This house was great for our family. The location was secluded but very close to the town of Pittsburg. The river is very close to the house and was so peaceful to sit by and relax and listen to the water go by. It also lulled us to sleep each night. The host was helpful and left us a nice welcome bag with some essential items. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Absolutely wonderful
We couldn’t thank you enough for sharing such a beautiful hidden gem. It was really the full experience of what the outdoors offers with the comfort of the mountain, rustic lifestyle. Extremely cozy, absolutely stunning views, we couldn’t believe the beauty of the hidden pond in the back! We saw loons, made s’mores by the fire, the kids had so much room to fly kites and run around. I appreciated the host talking to me about the history of the place and how much work and craftsmanship he had continued putting into it, it really shows too. We were close to Beaver Brook Falls, maybe a ten minute drive which was stunning as well. We stargazed! Truly had the great outdoor experience. The waterfalls integrating into the river was nothing I could have imagined either, so peaceful and soothing to fall asleep too, couldn’t believe that was the view to wake up to. We can’t wait to come back, it was the kids favorite vacation yet. I would love to share some photos I took of around your area, I think it really captures the beauty of it!
