"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to."

"Stayed here to go an ice hockey game. First time in Fife and staying in the Elbow Room. Amazing location for the Ice Hockey and lovely friendly staff. Room was clean and had no issues. Breakfast available 24 hours which was great. Will definitely stay again as place was full of character. "

"This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us. "Excellent accommodation huge bath nice comfy couch wifi, not great hot water was a pain. I requested heating turned on for arrival and it was the cosy staff at reception were friendly did call for earlier arrival and was told there would be a charge 👎 and also asked to stay an extra night and thought maybe get a small discount but was quoted top dollar suffice to say we drove home all in all good holiday cottage would highly recommend "
