"We had just one night here. Strange set up. Enter from the street and catch the lift to reception on the 6th floor. Small parking area for reception at the back (which was not communicated on booking). Then had to move the car to other parking for overnight. Check in guy Billy was helpful but when we left neither of the female staff even spoke to us. Just smiles when we handed the key back. No “thanks for staying with us” etc. Good location to walk to local restaurants and the cable car. ...

Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM."
