"The service and the food were excellent. My pillows were absolute perfection. I was doing yoga by the pool and when I looked up I realized that someone had quietly placed a yoga mat right next to me. Amazing. "

"Lovely hotel, clean, super comfortable, and quiet even though it's very close to all the action. Just one problem: as someone excited about the fact they have a gym, there is no workout bench and half the weights were missing. If they can replace the weights and include a bench -- which you need for several weight lifting moves -- it would be a perfect place. "

"The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and clean. Very nice lobby and the staff is extremely friendly, everyone speaks English very well! However they did not have washcloths. In Europe apparently that is not an option they utilize. Also, the hotel is located right in the city so looking out your window of your hotel You will look into an apartment building, or people are hanging their clothes out on the balcony and a little bit run down and very dingy. I would still choose this hotel again, but for some people they may not like looking at a rundown building next door. I would still give this place a five-star rating due to the staff, and the beautiful amenities inside the hotel. You feel very safe with your surroundings here!"

"Very busy street outside, but surprisingly quiet inside the room. The stairs are steep, and a great workout. The little coffee machines were always a guess as to how it will work at that moment, so that added some excitement to the room. Super close to acropolis and all the touristy things. As well as the Metro station which can get you to the ferries and other places super easy. Also, only ~4 miles from the mountains with decent trails. "

"The staff at The Stanley are all fantastic. We had some lovely servers at the rooftop restaurant and around the pool and they couldn’t have done more for us. The actually rooftop pool and dining area is absolutely stunning with views of The Parthenon whilst you swim and eat dinner! The room itself was clean and kept clean by staff and the bed was very comfortable. There is a wide choice of food at breakfast to suit everyone and the roof top restaurant food is also fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"The hotel is very cute and clean. The team are extremely friendly, wonderful to have a chat with, gave great recommendations and overall superb service. The breakfast was small but great choices and the staff at the rooftop restaurant were so polite. Locatiom is great with lots of restos around and easy to get to the main sites in Athens. Lastly, the view from the rooftop at night time is amazing!! "
