Excellent stay - felt like family!
Jacopo Marcello and his family were so welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was very clean and well kept. Jacopo and family were so kind and went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met and our stay was personalized (a few examples: he decorated with balloons for our daughter's birthday, he provided us with vegetables from the garden, and purchased a toaster when we mentioned we liked toast at breakfast). We enjoyed touring the property and were astounded by the history. Jacopo's knowledge of the area was exceptional and he made going on excursions easy with a booklet of suggestions and directions. We enjoyed the camaraderie and conversation as well! Thank you for a wonderful, memorable stay and we will definitely recommend to friends who tour Northern Italy!

A wonderful vacation where everything was perfect.
We rented the vacation apartment for our family to celebrate Christmas together. We were extremely satisfied and had a fantastic time. The landlords looked after us first class, they couldn't have done better. We'll definitely come back.

Wonderful location to celebrate family and friendship
We spent the Easter weekend at Ca Marcella with a large group of family and close friends. Our young children delighted to explore the expansive and beautiful gardens. It’s a perfect place for imagined adventures! The guest apartment is large and well-appointed. Our group of ten slept comfortably and we enjoyed preparing and eating meals together in the large kitchen - and on the outdoor grill! A highlight was the special Italian meal prepared by the chef for us one evening. Jacopo took great care to accommodate numerous dietary restrictions and put together an incredibly memorable and delicious meal! Thank you Jacopo! The villa is also perfectly situated for exploration of the wider area. We did several outings to surrounding villages. We are so grateful for Jacopo and his family for welcoming us to their beautiful home. We made memories for a lifetime and would recommend to anyone.

A fabulous holiday to remember
This was a very special trip planned and booked 18 months in advance. It coincided with our 40th wedding anniversary and, after a honeymoon in Venice and then Asolo, we were keen to re-visit both with all our family - four sons, wives and partner of three of them, 18m granddaughter. Jacopo could not have improved on his levels of communication at the time of booking when we sought reassurance that the accommodation would suit a party aged 65 down to 18m. As the date of the trip approached he was incredibly solicitous in attending to every need, providing us with a pack of useful information about pretty well everything one would want to know. We took him up on his offer to supply wine and have it ready, chilling as appropriate, in the property ahead of our arrival - it was all delicious and reasonably priced. He booked a fabulous local restaurant for us on arrival - Mediterraneo in an amazing setting nearby - where reasonably priced local cuisine in parts reached fine dining levels. He arranged for taxis to take us to Asolo for a celebratory lunch for the anniversary. He was immediately on hand to attend to any needs. The accommodation was spotless, spacious, comfortable, very well equipped and everything worked. We had access to all the extensive grounds and the private garden and pool were perfect. Jacopo was the perfect host - available but never intrusive. He shared his fascinating family history, giving us a tour of the villa. We very much hope to go back.

A magical stay in fabulous Veneto
We felt very special eating breakfast in the courtyard of this elegant palazzo whilst being observed by a statue of the roman general surmounting the building - the ancestor of the family that built and have owned it for almost 500 years. The accomodation is spacious and luxurious. Beautifully furnished air conditioned bedrooms, a fully equiped kitchen (the owners clearly maintain an Italian approach to food) as well as an ornate but extremely comfortable living room. Outside is the extrodinary house. We have the freedom to roam the ancient gardens of over 20 varied and delightful acres. Whilst there is the very occasional visitor there is a completely secluded garden for guests with a pool. The palazzo is well situated - 40 mins by train or car (traffic dependant) to Venice. There are many other cities to visit including Padua, Vicenza, Treviso and further afield Verona. Highly reccommended - do stay - you will never forget it.

Italian Elegance and Warm Hospitality
My Husband and I spent our honeymoon at this amazing, Italian Villa. The stunning facade, elegance and charm made this time of our lives most unforgettable. We also will never forget the very warm hospitality we received and the life long friends we made during our stay. The grounds of this magnificent villa were also impressive as we wandered along the many paths through several of the gardens on this property. The botanical varieties and statues were an absolute treasure to the eye. The entire Villa, preserved as a historical landmark, will never be forgotten. The hospitality that we were privileged to receive will always be remembered and appreciated. We couldn't have had a better host than Jacopo. Not knowing a bit of the language, food or locale, he was more than thoughtful as he refused to let us starve and served us breakfast, coffee and the best lasagna dinner we have ever eaten, to this day. Not to mention the other delectable dishes he cooked for us, and the wine......made at their own winery! It is truly an impressive, enchanting place as we hope for the very best for the Marcello family. We will return. Thank you again, Jacopo

Very beautiful place to stay with very intersting towns and cities nearby.
We were the guests of Jacopo and Carlotta for 6 nights and have fully enjoyed our time here. I stayed with my two grandchildren and they could play very safe in the garden and in the swimming pool. To show them more of Italy, we drove to several cities nearby, everyone of them unique and charming, and we took the train to Venice, a very comfortable and easy way to get there. During the week we heard piano playing during the day from the villa, where young people were working on a masterclass and on one of the last nights there was a concert of all these promising young talents. A luxury for us, just a few steps away in the big hall of the beautiful villa. The apartment itself is very tasteful with old furniture, comfortable chairs and good beds. Paintings everywhere. It was a hot week, so the airconditioning was very welcome and we could sleep well. We were surprised with an overwhelming lunch and all kind of attentions, least of all the delicious chocolate cake! Thank you for all your hospitality and kindness to share this beautiful place with us. I will surely come back with my husband who couldn't be there this time, because of his work obligations. Greetings from Elvy, Cederick and Saskia!

Stately Home Villa - we felt like Royalty
Wow, what an incredible Apartment connected to the stunning Palladian Villa, Ca' Marcello. We felt like Royalty in enjoying this superb property all to ourselves (for most of the week). Eating under the Arches or by the Pool was just so uplifting as you look around at beautiful architecture and gardens. We were a party of 8 people and there was plenty of space in this well appointed apartment, The air conditioning was excellent and we were delighted to sleep in cool bedrooms. The pool is excellent and a good size. The photos are lovely but the actual property is even more lovely than the photos. Jacopo (Count Marcello) was incredibly friendly and helpful. He lives next door to the apartment. He left us to enjoy this lovely property and was available when we needed help. His family were lovely and welcoming too. We enjoyed the catered meal served under the arches (Loggia) - it was so lovely to enjoy real Italian food in incredible surroundings. The winetasting suggested by Jacopo at PDC Cartizze was really enjoyable as well. Jacopo's own wine is also good. Venice is not far away and Treviso is a winner with our family (possibly more than Venice). We planned to do many more visits to other historic sites but, we enjoyed the Villa so much that we stayed at "home" relaxing in the beautiful history of Ca' Marcello. We felt very welcome and at home in this incredible historic property. We hope to return. Grazie Mille Jacopo and all your team.

Beautiful Old Villa with gorgeous Gardens and wonderful hosts
Ca Marcello is a beautiful old Venetian Villa that gives you a real sense of how life must have been when all the villas were thriving. The apartment accommodation is great. We stayed there with our 3 children (ages 6, 4 and 2) and their grandparents. The kitchen was a little small but all we needed. The beds were very comfortable, there are plenty of bathrooms which are all very nice. There is plenty of room and it feels like a real home away from home. Even though it has stairs it is quite child friendly for very small children. We could lock them in so they couldn't get to the stairs. We had to close the windows to keep them safe but this wasn't a problem. The patio area down on the ground floor was so pretty to sit at and eat every night. The pool area is fantastic and quite closed in to keep kids in your sight. Plenty of grass for some ball sports too. The gardens of the villa are absolutely gorgeous and the owners allow you to walk around them whenever you want. Our children ran on the grass nearly every day and loved the space. The highlight was the owners, they were so lovely. They made us dinner on the first night, bought us heaps of fresh food out of the kitchen garden through the week and baked a cake for us. They were so attentive making sure everything was perfect and never got in our way. Really fantastic hosts. Carlotta gave us a tour of the main house, her family home. It was so interesting and made the stay even better. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Memorable holiday in an amazing Italian home!
Our adult family of 6 just finished a wonderful vacation in Italy and were privileged to stay at the wonderful apartment that is part of this historic villa. The setting is just as wonderful and representative as the photos and description on the website. The rooms are large and comfortable with antique furniture and art. The grounds are lovely with parklike settings, interesting walkways, a fish pond and even an old dovecote. There is a lovely pool with a large gazebo and lounge chairs for outdoor dining for the exclusive use of those staying in the apartment. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook any kind of dinner you might like. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large with lots of room for hanging clothes. There are onsite laundry facilities. The villa is very well located to explore Venice and the beautiful towns and villages of the Veneto region. There is a train station nearby where you can take trains into Venice twice an hour and the trip is only about 40 minutes saving you trying to park in Venice. There are shops nearby for any groceries you may need. One of the best features is the attentive and helpful service and support from Jacopo and Roberta. They provided us with alot of information about nearby sites we wanted to visit, Palladian villa's, restaurants, galleries etc. They also connected us to a nearby cooking school that was excellent. One of the crowning events was an evening dinner that they arranged for us (from a local chef) that we able to enjoy in the beautiful dining room of the historic main house to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was very generous of the lovely Marcello family and a truly memorable experience! We would recommend this amazing opportunity to anyone - you won't regret it!

One of a kind and truly amazing family size property with easy access to Venice and Verona
This property is truly amazing. The guest house is a wing of a 500 year old country estate set on a fantastic 18 acre property, all of which was accessible to us. The pool area was in a private yard for our private use with a nice covered outdoor eating area. The home has 4 enormous bedrooms and more than enough room for 6 of us (4 couples could easily share this place). The bathrooms were above average by any European standard. The outdoor eating area was used every day both right out our front door and the pool area. There were bikes available, parking, an 18 acre park with soccer pitch, a vegetable garden for our use, free WiFi, washer and dryer ... just amazing. The house was well furnished in a period type setting. The owner, Jacopo Marcello, was very friendly, spoke perfect English and was able to help us with anything we needed (including supplying us with good estate labeled wine) during our stay. This place is excellent for large groups or a couple of families. Only downside to the house was a small and dated kitchen (but we did have access to a BBQ). Just a picky point, the deck chairs at the pool could have all used fabric pads. The house was very close to the train into Venice, and anywhere else. The estate is also used for weddings on Saturday night, but our area was roped off and we found the people watching interesting. There were bands playing a couple of nights for the wedding, so we were treated to some free entertainment, but were never bothered with any late night noise. - The property and grounds are much larger than portrayed in pictures - Online pictures are accurate - I would recommend this property to friends and family - The property was very well maintained - You will need a car to get you to the two main train stations (8km away or 20 km's away), but trains go everywhere Verona was the biggest highlight in the area, even beyond Venice. We found Venice to be like a big, sweaty shopping mall, all selling the same tourist garbage down every street. If we went to Venice again, we would do it with a local guide, I'm sure there are great parts of Venice to see. I plan on returning to this property in the future.

An amazing historical stay
7 American women on a girls getaway. We rented cars at the Venice airport and easily drove to the place. (Roundabouts galore though). The home is amazing and we were treated so well. We had a wonderful trip and there was plenty of room. The grounds were so great. We enjoyed the fresh vegetables. The train was a super short drive with easy parking. Most people stay on the island with the grand canal so if you get directions to a place, make sure you know where you’re going. The hosts were helpful and fun. We had a fabulous time.

Absolutely loved our stay.
Both the property and living space was amazing. Jacopo was very gracious and accommodating to our needs and questions. He was also very informative, explaining his family and the villa history, as well as taking us on a tour of the main villa, which was breathtaking! We loved the location, the villa, the people. Would highly recommend this to anyone!!!

The perfect holiday!
We were travelling with friends and young children. All of us agreed that these holiday were the best we ever had together. Jacoppo and his father were the most helpful host, always making sure that we had everything we needed. The house is spacious and has everything you would need or want. Ideally located, it is a short drive from some amazing places (lake Garda, Trieste...) and a very convenient and cheap train journey to Venice. The pool is big enough for all to enjoy at the same time and not too deep so that the young kids can enjoy it while the adults are relaxing. Would definitively recommend.

Wonderful Italian stay in charming villa
We had a great time at Ca’ Marcello. Spectacular grounds, lovely and welcoming hosts and refined indoor spaces made our holiday unforgettable. The villa is very well appointed and we had everything we needed at hand. The location is perfect, in the middle of a lovely contryside landscape and at a short drive/train ride to all major attractions we were in the Veneto for: Venice, Padova, Treviso, Verona and the Prosecco hills. The accommodation is very charming and perfectly clean with lots of space for the kids to run. We loved cooking our meals in the fully equipped and brand renewed kitchen, as well as over the bbq grill out at the pool. Lots of seating for meals between the dining area, kitchen large table and patio. Jacopo is a lovely host, always caring and helping us to enjoy our stay. Absolutely recommended! Marta&Family

Amazing Italian Villa
We spent 5 days at the Ca' Marcelo apartments in March 2017. It was a really pleasant stay as we could combine our tight business schedule of visiting our suppliers in the Veneto region of Italy with relaxing experience at the splendid historical Italian villa. The villa's owner made our stay very comfortable. He provided a great service in regards to the meal arrangements at villa and outside and he was really helpful on any of our requests. We would recommend this villa both for the business travelers to this part of Italy as well as leisure tourists, who would like to get a genuine experience of Italian Dolce Vita.
