"The hotel is family owned. You’ll soon find out that the front desk staff and the dining staff as well as back office are all related. The kids are very nice and hospitable and their English is great - certainly better than my Italian. Rooms are clean, comfortable and updated but really no frills and on the small side. Room is a basic double bed with a desk built into the wall and a small fridge. And that’s all there is room for. Bathroom is regular sized. If you don’t expect to spend much time in the room except to sleep, this hotel is well worth it and you won’t be disappointed at all. It’s also very centrally located and walkable everywhere. "

"This was our favorite hotel on this trip. The staff was amazing and responsive via Expedia contact. Great breakfast. Worth paying for. It was within a walking distance to the next town Saint Vincent. We loved the balconies. The only feedback we have is to get more thick pillows. The pillows were pretty thin."

"Our lake view room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony and view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I am GF and a basket with bread, muffins, cornflakes was provided every day. Orta is a lovely town with good access to boats and lots of different restaurants."

"A joy to celebrate my husband's special birthday here. We enjoyed 3 nights of wonderful care and help from a brilliant, attentive reception team, especially Sara and Richard. Nikolai was so kind driving us to places to eat in the village in the evening. A special shout out for the young barman, whose name I didnt get, whose English is exceptional. The hotel is ideally placed for the village, the island and the Unesco Sacro Monte. The Couples Symposium in the Wellness Suite was a real treat. The two therapists were friendly and professional and gave us a fabulous treatment. The exceptional meal in the restaurant was the best treat of all, innovative, delicious.a wonderful experience, alongside a very good wine flight and excellent service."
