"All was amazing! I did stay an extra day in another cabin and was also amazing! Heater or fireplace to stay warm. Hiking, wilderness, peaceful. The 3 female staff members were nice and pleasant."

"The hotel is what the pictures show. It’s an older property but it’s adorable with the retro fridge and microwave in the room. Refrigerator was cold. Beds were comfy but would recommend you bring your own pillow if you don’t like stiff pillows. Shower was dated but the water was hot and the shower allowed for adjustments in pressure. We would stay there again. "

"Just 17 minutes away from downtown Silver City you will find a gem to stay at Bear Mountain Lodge. It is a historic property, excellently maintained and run in a very friendly manner. They offer breakfast and dinner, and the culinary experience was above standard and delicious. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, clean, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, which is something not always the case at hotels. We were very pleased with our stay, and plan to return in the future."

"From the moment we arrived at this stunning hacienda, we knew we had discovered something special. The enclosed courtyard welcomed us with charm, and seamless online check-in made settling in a breeze. Stepping in, we all said, "Wow!" and kept saying, "Wow" until we had explored the entire home.Each evening, we were drawn to the living room, savoring the warmth of the kiva fireplace as the sun set through the large west-facing windows. The space is large and thoughtfully designed—ideal for a small group like ours but well-suited for larger gatherings, with an abundance of dining and kitchen space. Two couples could have their own master bedrooms with 2 more beds for another three -- that's luxury. And the multiple decks—so many!—provide endless opportunities to soak in the landscape.Beyond the property, we explored the Gila Cliff Dwellings, Purgatory Chasm, City of Rocks State Park, Emory Pass, and Silver City (fill up on gas while there; the drive is longer than it seems!). Hillsboro and Kingston were hidden gems, with cool museums and welcoming townspeople.The owner of this hacienda is exceptional. Her hospitality added to the warmth and comfort of our stay.Of the many properties we've rented, this one stands out, and we are eager to return. No TVs, just breathtaking views, a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, serenity, and a deeps sense that someone truly cares about this place."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Roadrunner. I was traveling to Silver City to visit my brother and his wife and this was the perfect place. Close to town but secluded. We saw a herd of javelinas cross the road right in front of the driveway. Has all the amenities for an extended stay including washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable. Great views from the deck and the night skies are amazing. Ben was a perfect and accommodating host. Definitely would stay again. "
