"my husband and I and our four children stayed for a week at this property. The view was beautiful. The bathrooms were nice and clean. However, the kitchen was under cared for. We noticed coffee grounds in the silverware tray and felt the need to wash all of the dishes prior to using them due to grease. The couches were very small and it was difficult to relax on them. "This property was perfect for our group of two small families. The kids loved their own space upstairs and the fire pit for s'more's was a huge hit! The back yard was the perfect space for them to to play. The host reached out multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied. Can not beat the location! We will be back! "2 friends getting together for quick getaway. The cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bath which is perfect for privacy. It was clean and quaint. The location is within walking distance of everything we wanted. We were iced in for a day and half and hiked and explored the other day and half. I never felt like we were restless. It was a true R and R trip.The staff especially the manager Karen was always available and so friendly. Her recommendation of the Mint Indian Cuisine in Boone was spot on. Only 6...
