"The facility is set back from the road so it’s quiet. I arrived super early and the staff was accommodating in allowing me an early check in. I didn’t get to stay the night due to being recalled for work but I got a good shower and a long nap. Requested a couple additional pillows as they were really flat kind. Could only find one to give us. We come this direction several times a year when cruising out of Galveston. "This was an interesting property. The house’s architecture was a bit quirky, but it grew on us over time. We would have appreciated it if the backyard was maintained a bit better, we had to dig out the leaf blower and cleaned some of it ourselves and there was a broken lounge chair on the loft terrace. Other than that the place made for a fun stay. "
