We stayed here several times and although the location is convenient for our purpose, we will staying elsewhere the next time. The last visit the sheets appeared to be unchanged, this visit I had to ask for a clean shower curtain and disinfectant to clean the bathroom because of what looked like blood stains on the shower curtain. The front desk person was very accommodating and nice in my requests for cleaning supplies.
Was disappointed that I was unable to draw the drapes enable to block out the outdoor lights around the property. Caused restless and inconvenient sleep. Had to cover my head and use hot headband to cover eyes. Otherwise bed was vey comfy.
Comfort Inn used to be one of the better two- or three-star properties to stay at. This hotel is dated and in need of renovations. Amenities are fine and what you would expect. Rooms need to be updated, and hotel needs a good cleaning. Lots of debris in the hallways. Staff was excellent, helpful, and very courteous and the one really good thing about this location. It's also kind of tough to get into and out of this location. Right off a main roadway that's 55-mph speed limit. It's hidden in the trees, and if you aren't paying attention you'll drive right by this place. It was adequate for the price. Free breakfast is the usual stuff. Kind of boring when it's the exact same every day when you are staying multiple days. Overall, maybe a 7 out 10 our stay.
From the moment you pull in you see the canopy and columns paint pealing, sidewalks and curbs need power washing. Luggage carts dirty and damaging the wall where they are parked. The trash can in our bathroom still over flowing from the last guest. Only chair in the room was too dirty to set in. Lamp on end table did not match, Bathroom toilet seat, toilet paper holder tub shower all showing signs of ware. Sink stopper would not hold water. Sink hot water too hot someone is going to get hurt. The breakfast area LED lights are yellow from ware. Over all the place shows lack of maintenance. Certainly not the quality you would expect to see in Pinehurst NC
Stay was fine! Room was clean and hotel was quiet. Front desk was courteous!
There was a strong smell in the lobby that was kinda overbearing. For people with allergies, this would be an issue! The smell was almost like a very strong cologne or perfume. I had to rush through the lobby to keep from getting a headache from smelling it.
