"This property was perfectly located for us to explore Kings Canyon National Park and Hume Lake for a few days. It's technically inside Kings Canyon Park, which saved us a lot of driving time each day. We wish we could have stayed there longer! The cabin has so much character and charm. We loved the fireplace in the master bedroom, multiple smart TVs and cozy kitchen. It's only a few minutes drive from the restaurant in Grant Grove Village and a very small market, but a far drive from any other...

"Decided to base our visits to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks from the fantastically located and charming property. Best decision ever. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! There is no hallway to the 2nd bedroom so its either an outside exit or a walk through of the other bedroom). The internet was fast and reliable. "Great little cabin. Loved hearing the river nearby. Small, but well equipped kitchen. We brought food that we were able to reheat and enjoy in the evening after visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The air conditioner did a nice job keeping the cabin cool, despite temps getting up into the triple digits during our stay. Easy parking just in front of the cabin. "

"Sandy the caretaker was lovely and did a good job, going out of her way to place fresh flowers and write directions to the park entrance. It has a very nice view and is quiet and remote. Furniture is quality and comfortable. But cats took over the porch, there was no heat, no cell reception, and the well could run out of water at anytime. Be ready for remote living."

"Very cute cozy cabin! Very clean. Beds comfortable. Kitchen a little old and out dated. No dishwasher. Bathrooms updated and nice. Hot water runs out quickly. Downstairs shower head not much water pressure. Located on main road to Sequoia National Park South Entrance only 4 miles. But 50 miles to General Sherman Tree. Would recommend and would stay there again."
